I located this motel as an excellent value and was pleasantly suprised at how neat and clean the facility was. Located in the heart of NorthConway and run by a very nice couple, the BriarCliff is an excellent value and was a wonderful place to stay. we were there to ski and they even offered us discounted ski tickets which was just an added bonus to an excellent experience.

Given it's location- a popular tourist destination, the hotel was reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, a bit dark in decor, a slightly old fashioned feel, but not an issue for me.
The 'heated' swimming pool was somewhat on the chilly side, but given the weather at the time, we were the only victims of the cold!
In conclusion the hotel, at the price, was fine. i would have no hesitation in recommeding this hotel.

Room was clean. It was "old-fashioned" in the sense that it's not like the chains, but had a "homey" feel. New furniture, fantastic mattress.

No pets allowed, and they seem to be very strict about it, which is good for me because I have allergies.

There was a refrigerator in our room, and there was a "heated pool" which we didn't use.

This motel is in a long line of motels and shops and restaurants, so you can find any type of restaurant you would like or need.

This place has really nice rooms, large and nicely decorated. We had a back view of the mountains and a king size bed. the room had the smell of super carpet freshener or something, just overdeoderized like there might have been a pet or something in there. Other than that there was a nice pool area and the room was in the corner so fairly quiet.

We were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. It had been a long ride on the motorcycle. there were 5 bikes/10 adults. The rooms were clean and had a personal Touch to each one. I would stay there again and I would most of all recommend this hotel...Clean and inviting the price was great also. Hope to have coffee there again...thank you

We stayed at the Briarcliff for two nights at the end of May and were impressed by the quality of the accommodation and the friendliness of the staff.

We travelled with a friend who was in the next room to us and we were able to make use of the covered porch which led out of the back of the rooms, by removing the divider (with the owner's permission of course!) so that we could share the porch area. This gave us a social area to meet up in the mornings etc.

The views from the porch were wonderful, especially during the early morning low cloud surrounding the mountains.

I would stay there again without hesitation.

I know that this is a little late as we stayed here last November but I think all comments are helpful.
My wife and I stayed here a couple of days. It was real nice. The two girls on reception were excellent and friendly. The room rate was good and the room was clean and tidy - although we did find the deep dark green color a little drab.
We do however intend to go back to N. Conway this fall and will stay here again.
Overall a good place with a pretty nice eating place next door.
