“Stayed an extra night!!!!!”
Reviewed February 4, 2013 via mobile

We had a great time! We went on our baby moon and also took along our 10 month old. Innkeepers were very welcoming to our little one! We booked two nights and ended up staying a 3rd.

This Inn has a prime location. Walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shop, shopping. Only a 5 min drive to the outlets.

Our room(deluxe suite) had a jacuzzi and separate room which was great for putting LO in the pack n play. We took along our own but They supply pack n plays if you need them.

Wish the room had a DVD player bc we took along some DVDs to entertain our LO. We ended up spending afternoons in the common room anyways.. Coffee and snacks after 3 were a nice touch.
We needed an iron and the inn keepers provided it.. Room didn't have iron board but we made it work.
Fyi theres No phone in the room but I guess we prob didn't want to be bothered anyways.
Single serve coffee maker in room was great.
If you needed it the Common room had a mini fridge, microwave and wine cooler.

Toilet was leaking from the guest prior.. Innkeepers had a plumber there to fix it the next morning. And they greatly apologized.

Outdoor hot tub looked fabulous unfortunately I'm pregnant and couldn't go in but I'd like to try it next time!

Oh and breakfast everyday was great!!! We had choice of eggs, waffles(even choc chip!), French toast, cereal, English muffins, bacon, yummy sausage and more!

Love the inn keepers!!!! If your looking for a great location to stay call cranmore inn!!!

This is one of the rare places where the pictures online don't do the place justice. Our room was even nicer than the pictures led us to believe. My girlfriend and I stayed in room 304, the deluxe king, and both of us slept better than we have in months! If you're a couple looking to book a room, I'd highly recommend requesting room 304.

Eddie and Chris are everything that inn keepers should be. They are warm, friendly and unassuming. I have a tendency to pepper people with questions while on vacation about local restaurants, landmarks and cool places to go. Eddie and Chris were more than knowledgable about the area and were able to direct us to an awesome Italian dinner right in town.

If you're looking for a clean, affordable and friendly place to stay, definitely check out the Cranmore Inn--you won't be disappointed.

I stayed at the Cranmore Inn last night with three of my friends. After a day of skiing we were greeted by the owner, who was very pleasant and helped us figure out where to have dinner. The location is great because you can walk right down the street to the center of North Conway. We had a very nice room that had two queen beds and two twin beds. We had a private bathroom. Everything was nice and clean. My bed was very comfortable. The Inn is an older building so it has charm and character with high ceilings and a charming dining room. I would definitely stay again!

Room Tip: We stayed in the family suite. Plenty of room for four adults or two couples with one child each.

Cranmore Inn has come under new ownership over the summer. New owners, Eddie and Chris, have made several improvement, Including much needed all new towels and bed linens and new living room furniture. It is now possible to actually get out of the new chairs unlike the old that you would sink quite low in. They have made these improvements without losing the old world charm that has always set the Cranmore Inn apart from the others. I will be continuing to spend several nights a week during the ski season with Eddie and Chris and wish them success with their new venture. Their success is important to all of us who have learned to love staying at the Inn over the years.

Room Tip: Choose between fashionable period rooms and modern updated rooms based on your preference.

Let me start off by saying that before this weekend, my husband was NOT a fan of bed and breakfasts. He is a fan (of this one) now. We booked a 2-night polar express weekend through the B&B, We travelled with two kids (ages 7 & 8).

We had a two room family suite just off the main living room. We had two bedrooms separated by a bathroom. We knew that we were in the older part of the B&B. The rooms were a bit dated, but very clean. Sheets were great quality and the towels were very fluffy and soft! We were pleasantly surprised by the large flat screen TV in the master bedroom. The only negative we can come up with (and we had to think hard), was that the mattress was very soft. It is a personal preference -- we like a very firm mattress.

We travel to N. Conway often and know the town well. We were excited that we could walk right downtown to some of our favorite places. We did not have to deal with traffic or parking -- that was a big plus. We also walked straight to the train station for the polar express.

The best part of our stay was definitely Christopher and Eddie! Can't say enough about their hospitality. Each afternoon, they put out a fresh snack (homemade cookies, brownies, etc.), tea and coffee. Each evening, they put out a bottle of wine. The first night, we put the girls to bed and carried monitors to the living room right around the corner. We poured a glass of wine and sat by the fire. Another couple, who were staying directly above us, did the same thing. They were wonderful people and we started to talk easily. Soon Christopher joined us. We talked and laughed until 1:00 in the morning!! Much the same scene the second night, but Eddie joined us as well and we stayed up even later!!

Morning came too quickly each day. The breakfast was really great! Chocolate chip waffles for the kids, awesome breakfast sandwiches, eggs, bacon, fruit, juice and endless tea/coffee. If we were to go out for breakfast, we'd have paid at least $40.

I would recommend this B&B without reservation. Already trying to plan our next trip!

Room Tip: If you've got young kids, choose a family suite just off the main living room. Bring your monit...

We visited North Conway recently for the Polar Express and stayed at the Cranmore Inn for 2 nights. We certainly could not have chosen a better place to stay! The historic inn was beautiful with period details and very warm and inviting. Our rooms were spacious and very clean. In the evening they put out coffee, a freshly baked snack, and a bottle of wine. Breakfast was very good also. Located in downtown North Conway, we were able to walk to the train station, restaurants and shops, and also were only a 2 minute drive from Mt Cranmore where we spent the day tubing. The best part of the inn has to be the innkeepers Eddie and Chris! We certainly enjoyed having a glass of wine and sharing stories by the cozy fireplace at night with them. They were very hospitable, available to recommend places to eat and visit, and even apprised us of a wonderful local theater production that we would not have known about otherwise. All in all, it was a wonderful weekend and we can't wait to stay at the Cranmore Inn again in the summer! Thank you again Eddie and Chris!

We booked our stay here unbeknownst to the innkeepers that it was under very stressful circumstances. Our party included ex-spouses, a teen enrolled in a wilderness program. We were there to visit our daughter who is half way into her program. I chose an B&B vs. a conventional hotel because I sought after a more 'home-like' environment to spend our time together. Eddie (Innkeeper) exceeded our expectations on making us feel at home. Staff was warm and welcoming, just what you expect from a New England B & B. Breakfast was outstanding and staff bent over backwards to make sure that our expectations were met, and then some. I recommend this B&B without any reservations. And we were lucky to chat with their children while waiting for the school bus to arrive!
