Review of Diana's Baths

We read about how beautiful Diana's Baths is, so it was out first stop on a beautiful summer day. It IS a beautiful spot, BUT it was overrun with people swarming everywhere. I WISH we had known in advance that this lovely spot is so accessible that hordes of people drag coolers full of food, screaming children, and camp out there for the day, sprawling all over the rocks like so many beached whales. Huge disappointment. You can get the same experience at a crowded city swimming pool. If you're going for the natural beauty, you might have better luck in cooler weather.

Each time we make the trek to the White Mountains, we are sure to check out Diana's Baths. A little off the beaten path, this is a perfect outing for anyone who wants some peace, enjoys easy hikes/walks and enjoys nature. We even brought a stroller (many years ago) the first time we went with no problem.

Liked scenery and trails for snowshoeing / winter walking. Beautiful forest - very close to the Farm by the River B&B.

It is a little bit of a walk but well worth it. We usually spend a day here every summer during our visit. There is something for everyone but just be careful on the slippery rocks. Can be dangerous.

My boyfriend and I are no fitness freaks by any nature, but this was a fun and exciting hike. It was a hot September day when we went, but once you are under the shade of the trees, it was nice and cool. You know you are getting closer to the Baths when you start hearing the thunder of the waterfall louder and louder. What a blast we had! We sat down by the water for about 30 minutes, exploring the rocks and paths in the woods. It was a lot of fun and I would definitely go again!
