Drive to the parking lot; travel the VERY easy walking path (someone was even navigating it with help in a wheelchair) - picture perfect falls. If you want, you can climb to the top and get a different perspective. Well worth the stop!

A little difficult to find, but worth the look. A nice easy hike to reach the nice falls, pleasant views, accessible for just about all ages. Not far from Cathedral Ledge, can do both easily in an afternoon.

There is plenty of parking although if it's a nice day, you'd want to get there early as the parking lot does fill up quite quickly. It's a wonderfully kept wide path to a great little set of waterfalls. My nine year old son just loved it as did my husband and I. You get to the end of the path and can climb on the rocks and just sit and enjoy the scenery. I took some wonderful pictures. It's a great family gathering place.

Plenty of parking and right outside North Conway. Plenty of parking and the standard $3 daily usage fee but that also works for other national forest attractions in the area (Sabbaday Falls, Rocky Gorge, Albany covered bridge, etc). It is an easy .6 mile walk from the parking lot to the falls and it is a very wide and well maintained path - one in our party did it on crutches due to a sprained ankle, though I wouldn't recommend that! The walk through the woods is pretty and there is a picnic table at the falls. There are lots of places to get out onto large rock formations in the stream and the kids will enjoy that. We were there in Sep so it was too cool for swimming in any pools. Lots of places for photos of the falls and very scenic. Well worth the short walk and a nice way to spend an hour or two with the family.

Scenery is terrific, parking is easy. Kids 9-12 can make the hike fairly easily. It is a little uphill, but gradual enough for the kids. Trail is not very wide in places and can be crowded on the weekends. Great hike when the leaves begin to turn. No offense to dog people (I love dogs), but dogs on the silly retractable leashes are a pain. I saw 2 people trip over them. Not fair to the dogs and hikers when the trail is crowded.
