We really enjoyed and the day we went up was one that it was clear. Very cold so you do need gloves, hats and warm coat. Brakeman going up very knowledgeable and interesting. Makes you really think about the creative of the person that came up with idea, designed and built it. Very family orientated. Watching the vegetation and tree changes going up and down worth the trip alone. View on top amazing. So clear when we were up there could see the ocean.

We took the train to the top to see this weather observatory. It was a wonderful experience. It's pretty windy at the top of the mountain, so be prepared. Loved the views from all angles of the mountain top!

We took the Mt. Washington Cog Railroad to the top of Mt. Washington and went to the summit on foot. We looked at the views from the observatory and we had the clearest day! Only happens 24%of the time they said. So worth it!

Took auto trail self drive to top of mountain as opposed to Cog Railway. Road is not best for those of nervous disposition, but views from top were fantastic. It was beautiful blue sky and wind was light, but needed light jacket as only had short sleeve shirt on. There is gift shop, restrooms and cafe at top
