This past weekend I had the pleasure of going to the White Mountain Hotel & Resort. As always, we had a great time, both at the hotel and in the city of North Conway. I love outlet shopping. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant (one of the best). We go up almost every year for MLK weekend.

Our family trip to the White Mountain Hotel turned out to be relaxing as well as enjoyable. The staff had our reservations ready upon check-in and greeted us warmly. The room was on the 3rd floor overlooking Cranmore Mountain and was beautifully decorated with soft, feather-like pillows. Some family members opted to ski each day while we, the old folks, decided to stay back and enjoy reading the newspaper and spending time in the gym and fitness center before heading out to shop in downtown North Conway.

Our meals were fabulous with lite fare for dieters like myself. My husband was in heaven with the menu choices and dinner specials every night. Dessert was something that couldn't be resisted. Dieters beware!

We are looking forward to heading back to North Conway in the not too distant future.

spent new year 2007/08 at the white mountain hotel had such a great night especially with the band-danced the night away-which is unusual for me.
couldn't wait to go back this new years eve 2 years later - travelled all the way from the uk and had a most disappointing night.
whilst the hotel and area had lost none of its magical appeal with all the snow etc the new years eve ball was a let down.
the same band made no attempt to please the guests but jammed the night away to some pretty awful jazz music which went on and on.
the audience which was a lot younger than the previous ball i had attended were so bored i noticed many left well before midnight-and 4 people in their 30s on the next table begged for more modern music but were totally ignored-they also left.
i am touching 60 and found the music boring ( the dance floor filled up when they took a break and there was some i-pod music put on)
they played totally for their own amusement and only when they came back on at 11-40 did they decide to play party music to see in the new year.
however we enjoyed the break - the hotel was excellent-superb brunch-young lad who doubled up behind the bar and in the kitchen was most welcoming and helpful-we had the presidential suite and was great waking up in the morning looking at mount cranmore ski slopes and overlooking the hot tubs ( i just wished i had the guts to go in)

Thank you very much for taking the time to write a review. We very much appreciate the
feedback from our valued and long time customers. Our New Year's Eve Party has always been the highlight of the year and work very hard to put together a package that offers an outstanding meal, festive decor, party favors, and excellent entertainment. I am sorry if the band did not meet your expectations this year, and we are researching alternatives to ring in the new year, next year! We hope to see you again in the near future.

From the planning stage and correspondence with Kimberly Clark to the end of our trip, everything was great. The bus company (Rukstela) was accomodating, the hotel was beautiful, the meals were delicious. What more can we say? We can't stop bragging about it!

For a badly needed get-away we reserved a suite for the weekend. My friend had seen a "get-away" promotion from WRKO in Boston. My first indication of possible trouble was that there was no bell service to help us with luggage. The "suite" was a large sparsely furnished room over looking the parking lot. The complimentary bottle of Champagne was a very poor quality sparkling wine. Kitchen and bar are in-consistent. Staff is ernest yet not well trained. Exterior is dramatic against the ledge yet do not judge "this book" by it's cover. We made an expensive mistake.

This was my 3rd stay at the White Mountain Resort. The Wine Weekends are a great deal and a great time. The food is excellent and the service is top notch. The hotel staff is very friendly and warm. There is plenty to do in the area.

The beds were soft and comfy after a long drive up from Boston. Friday started with a brief wine tasting, yummy appetizers and even some learning about wines from Argentina. We all headed to the cozy bar and continued our socializing. Then on Saturday we began with breakfast, enjoyed the heated outdoor hot tub and pool. Did a little shopping and returned for an educational cooking show with wine tasting. Chef Bradley along with the help of the staff treated us to Argentinian delights paired with the Catena Wines. Then we relaxed a little and were treated to a delightful 6 course dinner with each course with it's own wine. We ate duck, pheasant, lamb, steak with lots of sides and creativity. Saturday may have been rainy outside all day but we were treated to a beautiful sunrise that permitted us to see the Ledges, the trees and the many mountains. We ended our stay by filling up on their Champagne Brunch. So much food I think I'll burst --- Omelets, Waffles, Pancakes, Ham, Bacon, Roast Beef, Salmon, Vegies and Fruit just to name a few and then a table filled with desserts. Take the time and check them out. It's well worth the drive and the money. I was excited to learn they do multiple wine weekends a year, so you can be sure I'll be there again.

Thank you very much for your very kind words about the recent Wine Weekend. These events are so much fun to plan and host. We have about 4 Wine Weekends through the year, and they are so very well received. We are glad you enjoyed the event.
