Owner description: A rock cliff that is popular with climbers.

Drive to the top and walk a short distance to one of the most spectacular views of the valley below. Fenced in area for those with woggly knees looking below. Nice to see the rock climbers scaling with I can hardly look at without butterflies in my stomach. Simply breathtaking!

An easy drive from the West End Road, the Ledge offers great views of the valley below and the occasional glimpse of rock climbers scampering up the sheer cliff walls. Lovely place. Plenty of traffic though, so go early in the day.

A short drive, easy park and short walk and you're on the edge of Cathedral Ledge watching people rock climb, while enjoying the incredible view of the hills, mountains and farms below. Safe for young kids and easy enough of older people.

Elaine, our hostess at Wyatt House Country Inn, suggested we go to Cathedral Ledge and I am so glad she did. We drove the few minutes from the B&B, then walked the little ways to the ledge area for the breathtaking views. It was a clear day and we could see for miles. We are not hikers at all, but found it takes little effort to get some gorgeous views of New Hampshire's White Mountains area. Living in Florida, I had never heard of Cathedral Ledge, but was so glad Elaine recommended it for us. Highly recommend, especially if you love to shoot pictures like I do. Just a note: There is a donation box where you can give funds to help with maintaining the area. It takes just a few bucks, but it is worth it to me.

Cathedral Ledge is stunning. We drove up but it would make for a fantasic hike. This is very kid-friendly as the top is fenced in so the kiddos can enjoy the views without mom and dad having a heart attack! This is just minutes from the main drag in N. Conway.
