“Great place to meet old friends”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 28, 2013

I seem to always get the jambalaya (yum) so I can't comment on the rest of the food menu, but the beer is awesome! It's nice to sit out on the sidewalk and enjoy the weather during the warmer months. Parking is hard to come by although I've been lucky so far.

“Okay place to grab a bite to eat”

Live in the area and go to Martha's once in a while. Food is okay, nothing special. Better in the summer when you can sit outside.

“We had a great time and good food here”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

Terrific food, reasonably priced. Nice ambiance, attractive bar, accommodates a variety of age groups (families to singles) and has a fun, lively vibe. Good TV watching at the attractive bar. But Martha, have you no good looking male bartenders??! There were all young ladies behind the bar when we were there... Prime rib special was a ridiculously huge and delicious portion. Mcleod's ale (spelling?) was awesome, as were the snowball martinis. We ate there two nights in a row and will return when visiting the area.

“place is tired.....”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2013

We hadn't been here for dinner in like 15 yrs. The better restaurants on Main St had long waits so we went to Martha's and sat right down. Place looks tired, ink on menu is faded and service is so-so. We sat in an area that had blond wood floor, white tables, gold and brown satin drapes and wooden sparkly wall hangings to complete a totally bizarre decor that matched the schizo menu that included standard pub appetizers and "ginger/sesame/wasabai/thai/greek" offerings that seemed too scattershot to be good,. So we settled for warm sandwiches that were bland and lukewarm. Bread not very fresh and the whole experience was BLAH.
The Fokas family who owns the place should take scissors to the menu and rethink the whole experience for the diner (not just concentrate on their brewery). They are Greek and the city is dying for good Greek food!! What are they waiting for???
