“blissfull walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 10, 2013

i have many times walked around Mine Falls park, and used to taek my dog regulary. Great place to walk, jog, bike around i love the friendly atmosphere here too, everyone says hello.

only gripe... the high school uses it for cross country runs so you get HUGE groups of runners going round always feel like i have to bolt out of the way.

“Dog Friendly, Scenic Hike”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2013

The park provides lots of trails that are easy to hike (i.e., fairly level) with different areas to satisfy your scenic impulses (e.g., along a canal or through a wooded glade). The dogs love the trails. You may want to bring along water for the dogs as well as yourself--especially if it is hot and sunny.

“Enjoyable location for a hike or job”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 2, 2013

The Mine Falls Park is located in the town of Nashua. It's location provides a respite from the traffic and urban area. There are several different locations to park and trails to take. The trails are easy and anyone should be able to enjoy them. There are several different areas with good views of the water and the surrounding area. There is also a boat ramp for those going out on the water.

If you're looking for someplace to take a stroll, Mine Falls Park is a good choice.

“Great place for an exercise walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 14, 2013

My wife and I walk three miles a day for exercise and we were looking for a place to do it during our road trip to New Hampshire. Mine Falls Park was a great choice, with plenty of trails you can combine for the right distance for you. Also fine for joggers and bicyclists. Some routes are wide (really packed-dirt roads, but no vehicles), some woods trails. There is a PDF map on the City of Nashua website, but a park volunteer we met said it needs updating and he gave us a better one; still, the online map gives you a good idea. We parked at the end of Whipple Street, took the Blue Trail under Route 3 (it then becomes the Red Trail) and followed this woods path (lots of little ups and downs) along the south side of the canal to the gatehouse. Then we came back on the Green Trail along the north side -- pretty much flat all the way, and wide. So that gave us our 3 miles or so. All in all, nice and pleasant park -- with all the trees, it must be a nice respite from the sun in summer.
