Description: In August of 2009, after a pizza tour vacation with his family, Tony Naser decided to bring authentic Naples style pizza to Nashua, NH. But first, the destination was New York City and all the great pizzerias along the way - grilled pizza in Providence, legendary coal-fired pizzerias in New Haven, and some of the most famous pizzerias in NYC. They even made a trip out to Las Vegas for a visit to sample pizza. Making fresh dough and baking pizza every weekend was a family tradition and over the years this tradition became a passion to make the best pizza. Pizza originated in Naples Italy. Neopolitan pizza in its purist form has been made the same way in Naples since the 17th century. Once considered a dish for peddlers, pizza was sold by street vendors and not in restaurants. Over the years pizza gained popularity as Naples became a tourist attraction. And in the late 19th century pizza was introduced to the United States with the arrival of Italian immigrants. Crush maintains Neapolitan tradition and makes the simplest and freshest food brought in and made daily. No frozen stuff here! The ovens are imported from Italy and burns with an intensity to cook a pizza in 60 - 90 seconds at a blistering 800 - 900 degrees. For Tony, Crush is truly a labor of love.

“Very good pizza but service and decor is lacking”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

My wife and I have been here a few times and the pizza is very good. Comparable to a high end Boston restaurant. Try the specialty pizza but expect poor service and a poor decor. The pizza is cooked over an open fire in 90 seconds...that's right 90 seconds. Thin crust, pricey but well worth a try. The owner is there on weekends and very friendly. I would recommend sitting at the bar for better service.

“Overpriced”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

Crush pizzeria is a niche restaurant, that will draw a very limited clientele. The food is average, pricing is on the high side. When spending $22-$24 for a pizza I expect a real wow factor, this place just does not deliver. Nashua hosts a few pizzerias that deliver equal or better quality pizzas at about half the price.

“Unique Pizza”

the place is a little on the pricey side (all the pizzas are individual sized) but they have a great bunch of unique toppings and pizzas. definitely worth the price.

“True Italian style pizza”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

Our favorite place for pizza. Real Italian style thin crust pizza with fresh ingredients like house made mozzarella and crushed San Marzano tomatoes. A bit messy but delicious! Greco is a favorite but many delicious choices. The owner told us they travelled in Italy researching pizza making and ingredients prior to opening and the results of their research show. The high temperture wood fire oven makes for tasty and very fast prep, "no wait" pizza. We also adore the limoncello chicken wings with caramelized onions and rosemary served with baked focaccia. Delicious sounding sandwich selections but we haven't tried them as we can't resist the pizza and wings! Casual atmosphere and friendly service.

“Best Pizza around!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 20, 2012

If you like real Italian style pizza, wood fired with a thin flaky crust than this is the place. If you like thick Chicago style pizza, over run with cheese than go somewhere else.
Excellent pizza sauce and fresh ingredients. We had the "Capri" pizza with olives, mushrooms, artichokes and ham. Simply delicious!
This restaurant does not have much atmosphere, so they rating is on the quality of their pizza. This is how they make it in Italy!
