“OK "Friend"”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

Walk in and a young kid addresses you as "friend". Gag me! Also, they hav a premium table by the river, a four top, why do they not understand that they could place two tables ny the window and still be able to place four customers there, ,rathe than have one person tie up thetable. Maybe because they are stoopid. But good coffee. Bad that they solicite people to join their frequent dier program, but their website does not have links for that. And there are so many other ways that they fai;l, the make a big push for "real:" food but used powdered Hollandaise sause, give me a break .... But, good coffee on the oval does trump the other places.

“Great Breakfast/Lunch Spot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2012

We had a family meal here today for eight of us. The menu has a wide assortment of choices for breakfast or lunch. They have a number of bennis, typical breakfast fare, salads, sandwiches and burgers and have a children's menu. The home made corned beef hash was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meal. They use a lot of local organic products as ingredients. There is a good sized staff providing great service. Their is a nice view of the river from the back window. The prices are reasonable and so are the portions. A must to revisit!

“Local food served in a dinner setting.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2012

As long as you don't require a "fancy" dinning room -- this place is perfect. And on warm days when they offer outdoor seating, you can't beat it.

Local food, inventive dishes, vegetarian and burger choices -- all served with care.

Only open for Breakfast and Lunch.

“Great Service, Great Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 8, 2012

The River house tries to make breakfast and lunch dishes that you cant make at home, they use local and organic ingredients and are always there to greet you with a smiling face, recently they were featured in the New Hampshire Magazine for Best Breakfasts in NH, Every time i go i try to try something different but the baja turkey sandwich and the johnny apple cake remain my favorites.

“Great small town "Farm to Table" Cafe”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 7, 2012

This is the perfect little New England cafe. Sit in the back by the river for a nice view. This is a Farm-to-table restaurant, so most of the food comes from local farmers. They have an amazing assortment of burgers. Home grown beef and veggies, even free-range local eggs. My son got the Riverhouse French Toast, which was enough to feed 3.
