“Do not miss the Eggs Benedict!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

The locals go here for a reason. Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner... All Great, but Breakfast is my definite favorite! Don't let the "strip mall facade" fool you... How many comfortable Saturday morning you're-fine-in-your-work-jeans diners can serve you a Mimosa? Always some interesting specials on the board but don't hesitate if they have Prime Rib Benedict! Plus the only thing better than the food is the FRIENDLY staff!

“fresh seafood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

At the end of each week, the Yankee Chef serves very fresh seafood, directly from Boston that day. I had a perfect broiled scallop dish. The flavor was heavenly. Another in my group had broiled haddock, and a third had a broiled seafood medley. Fried is available, but we all opted for the broiled, and were not at all disappointed. There was a selection of tempting desserts, but none of us had room. Another time! The atmosphere is that of diner, but the food was a cut above.

“Nice local spot to grab a bite.”

The food is good, but I find it a bit pricey. Service has always been very good. Menu has quite a bit to choose from.

“Popular, Though I was Unimpressed”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2012

I've eaten there twice. The breakfast menu was erratically priced, some combos a good value and some pricey for what you got. Food was good. I tried their fried clams for dinner, and on that particular instance they were small, more like clam strips, and a bit overcooked. I didn't bother to try them again.

“Best restaurant in town!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 30, 2011

If you live in Milford, NH then you already know how awesome Yankee Chef is, but if you are just visiting I highly suggest you stop there to eat. Whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner all are fabulous. The staff there are always there to please and are the nicest people you could ever meet. The food is absolutely incredible. We eat there at least once or twice a week and have always been in awe. This place is definitely Milford's hidden gem.
