For the second year in a row our family traveled to the Mahoosuc Inn not only because that's where all the snow was for snowmobiling but also because we knew Mark and his family would not disappoint us. Planning on only spending a few nights we ended up staying 5! The upstairs family loft area was perfect for us. Mark's experience and his passion for the outdoors is evident through his stories and conversations which we all enjoyed over a hearty family style breakfast every morning. He even made us a delicious dinner 1 night after an exhausting trail ride to Pittsburgh and back. The snowmobile conditions were fantastic with the groomers grooming the trails right to Mark's front door! The inn is comfortable, rustic and cozy. It's easy to enjoy curling up with a good book by the fireplace or chillaxin with a libation in the outdoor hot tub after a long day. The morning sunrise and the views of the property are breath taking especially after a new fallen snow. The Mahoosuc Inn will not disappoint. Your "fun meter" is guaranteed to stay on high the entire time you are there!

Room Tip: Upstairs family loft area has 2 bedrooms and a shared bath. Perfect for families of 4-6 traveling to...

Just got home from a wonderful snowmobile excusion of the white mountains. Myself and my two friends enjoyed the Mahoosuc Inn very much. We did not stay at the inn very long as we drove up from lancaster NH via the trails on saturday morning and did not return fro mour 215 mile journey until late saturday night. Mark had the rooms open, fresh cookies on the bar for us when we arrived! the hot tub was 103 and man were we ready for a soak! I was woken up by the smell of bacon, fresh homemade blueberry cranberry muffins and a hearty breakfasty as promised! We will be spending more time in the future at the beautiful inn!

Room Tip: All rooms were amazing! Dont forget your beverages for the hot tub!

My fiancé and I were scouting out northern areas for possible skimobile and rafting trips and stumbled upon the Mahoosuc Inn on the internet. We checked on Trip advisor and there wasn’t any mention of it but since we were going to be in the area anyway thought we’d give it a try as the website seemed just what we needed. Yeah, I know. The website and what you really find can always be totally different, but the website didn’t do justice to the hard work and thoughtfulness that Mark put into making us feel right at home!

Mark has put a great many comforting touches into the building that he spent quite a bit of time renovating and if you love wood floors and a comfortable and rustic feel, this is the place for you! Not only was it comfortable and quiet, with tremendous views, a wonderful outdoor hot tub, a terrific fireplace and nice conversation, but Mark’s breakfast were out of this world! You won’t go hungry, you’ll have a great many items to choose from and there was nothing like it and the warm crackling fireplace!

If we can ever get our teens up here, we’ll have a great place to call home base to raft or snowmobile from. Everyone should come and relax here, especially f you have or like horses. When we got back from our trip, I sent Tripadvisor a note to look this place up and here it is!

We went on a rafting trip with a local outfitter and found ourselves stopping for lunch at the Mahoosuc Inn. The property is in an idyllic setting with all manner of outdoor activity from hiking and biking to snowmobiling and nordic skiing, horseback riding and dog sledding right outside the doorstep. Of course, the Inn itself is marvelous, but what makes the place the ideal setting for your mountain getaway is the owner, Mark. He went out of his way to make sure we had a pleasant experience. Next time we find ourselves in the White Mountains I won't hesitate to book our stay here.

Our first trip with our horses. Everything was beyond great. The owners were friendly and helpful. The conversation was great. Loved all the history. The trail rides were so nice. We saw ildlife. the trails were well groomed. The owners Mark and Kim rode with us and filled us in on the local history, places in the area to go. We could not have asked for a better first experience. Oh and the breakfast was also delicious. I would encourage anyone to come here but for people looking for a place to stay with their horses i cannot imagine a better experience. We will be going back.

Room Tip: Clean, pri ce was right. View from the rooms was great.

Although the inn is walking distance from the airport the owner came to get us and then because the restaurants were closed for the night offered to cook dinner or lend us his car. This is a real B&B where the owners live upstairs and have a number of rooms on the main floor. Ours was large although sparsely furnished with a small bathroom (bring your own soap shampoo and blow dryer) but don't let this put you off. The owner renovated the building himself and it's delightful; with wainscotting and wood floors and ceilings. The whole place smells of fresh wood. In the morning after a breakfast of French toast we were given muffins straight from the oven to take with us. I would love to come back here when we had time for their trail rides or dog sledding or cross country skiing. This place is a real winner.
