I love the layout of this outlet - it has so many wonderful and varied stores to choose from, and the setup is conducive to strolling about for hours at a time.

If Premium Outlet shopping is this easy and comfortable, then I'm sold! Lots of stores to keep anybody busy. Meant to spend only 3 hours here enroute elsewhere, ended up staying 6 hours, the prices were that good. Haha. Loved the Nike store. Clark's and Bloomingdale's had great prices too. Not so impressed with Polo/Ralph Lauren. The kitchen places too were awesome. The place was clean and seemed new. There were adequate washroom facilities throughout. Parking was ample. The food court however, is quite lacking, both in options as well as space. If you know what you are looking for, it would be simple enough to zoom in on your favourite stores. If you are like me, new to the shopping and "premium" scene, count on at least half a day stop...more if you have a whole family with you.

Checked out the Merrimack outlets August of 2013. Sad to say I was disappointed. Besides being a sister to the Woodbury outlets, these outlets have nothing else in common. There was a nice array of stores to choose from, however, the stock within them was outdated more than two seasons. It is as if they took the stock from Woodbury that no one was buying and stuffed it into the stores of Merrimack. Not mention, if you are a small size forget it, I couldn't find a 2 or a 4 in the entire outlet. At the time I went, the outlet was advertising its "fall sale". Hoping to pick up a few pieces for fall, I was disappointed to find almost 99% summer garments, shoes and accessories.

As for prices, the no sales tax is definitely alluring, but the ticketed prices are not impressive. In fact, on many of the items I was shocked to see I could buy the same piece online for cheaper. Again, if you are a seasoned shopper you will notice these things over and over again at various stores within the outlets.

The Ann Taylor was the worst I have ever seen. The manhattan version of the store offered better deals than this place which says a lot. The Saks off the 5th was disorganized and I couldn't find one things under 100%. The Bloomingdales outlet looked more like a Macy's and again, had just about zero good deals. The ralph lauren had the basics we've seen over and over again and was nothing to swoon over. The prices in the ralph lauren were pretty good at 30% marked down price but all in all the stock was old and looked it.

As far as things I liked and appreciated, the outlets were brand spanking new and clean. The Jcrew was a good stop if your thinking of revamping your wardrobe. The deals were good and there was a decent selection of sizes. However, don't expect this to be your typical jcrew experience, the stock looks a lot more american eagle than jcrew at this outlet. It had a lot of good basics to add to your wardrobe and I can see it being good for a younger person just building their wardrobe. However for the experienced shopper, its nothing you haven't seen over and over again in other stores. I loved the yankee candle outlet. The deals were good, and the staff was friendly. The candles are half off their usual ticketed price.

All in all, if you are an experienced shopper, this is probably not the place for you. There were no deals to be found and you might as well skip the outlet and go to the store where you will find just as good prices and current season items. As well, if you are a person who already has a decently varied wardrobe, you wont find anything here.
