“Free tour - well explained and free drinks to boot!”
Reviewed July 31, 2012

I had taken the tour years ago and went back recently with my family. The tour is free and is well done. You start off in the main area which has the history of Anheuser- Busch for you to read while you wait for your tour. Before the tour starts they give everyone a sample of beer if they are interested ( you must be of legal drinking age to consume the alcohol). Children are welcome on the tour. The tour takes you all along the brewing process. The temperatures range from the 90's to the 40's. There are stairs to climb, however, they do offer an elevator for those who prefer. My only recommendation, is stay with the tour. We were snapping a couple of photos and in a minute we were lost. Luckily a girl came by and directed us where to go. The tour moves pretty quickly between areas. At one point after the packaging area, they have a large & comfortable area where they allow everyone 2 choices to sample for a lengthy list of options. These are not sample size - they are actually full glasses of beer. I do not really like beer, but tried the raspberry wheat which was pretty good for a beer. They also offer soda for those who do not want the beer as well as pretzels all included in your free tour. Then the tour takes you down to the outside where you can visit the gift store and/or go to the stables of the clydesdales. They are in their stalls so you can't touch them and the ones out to pasture are quite a distance away. However, on the 1st Saturday of every month between 1:00 - 3:00 you can pet the clydesdales. It was an enjoyable visit and would recommend this tour. The tour lasts about 1 1/2- 2 hours depending on how long you visit with the horses.

“Guided tour shows how the brews are made and packaged- Free”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

Our guide was informative and asked if we had questions which she answered. The quality of the product with the ingredients used as well as the cleanliness of the plant were shown. I did not know all of the products the Anheuser-Busch made. We could choose two kinds and I picked ones I had never heard of. The horses in the stable are living like kings and queens...beautifully groomed horses and grounds. They are powerful and easy to see why they were picked to pull the beer trucks and kept as a symbol of the company. Gift shop was great too and no pressure to buy.

“Free Bud Factory Tour”
Reviewed July 28, 2012

If you like to see "how things work" you will find this tour interesting. It is a massive factory, everything is a large scale and the kids will love watching the conveyer belts move thousands of bottles, from the mezzanine. This walking tour takes about an hour and a half ending in the "hospitality" area where you may choose two glasses of beer (free) if over 21, soda available for those under 21 or non drinkers. There are unusual draft beers, bottled and canned to choose from. Order unusual and different beers so you can "beer taste" with your companions. Clydesdales have a beautiful barn and we were lucky to see a team of eight "hitched" to the Budweiser Wagon and parading (gorgeous dalmation too!) around the parking lot, just like the commercials. First tour is at 10 am, recommend going early as it is not crowded.

Have toured a few times and it is always a nice place to visit, especially the Clydedale horse stalls. Free and a nice chance to taste their latest brews after the tour. Also a great gift shop

“If you are curious ....”
Reviewed July 26, 2012

...about how things are made, you will love the tour of the brewery. The tasting room at the end of the tour is fun, and you might even find a new brew you like. If you are lucky, the horses will be at the stables, and they are the most magnificent horses you'll ever see, not to mention how fabulous their stables are.
