I had taken the tour years ago and went back recently with my family. The tour is free and is well done. You start off in the main area which has the history of Anheuser- Busch for you to read while you wait for your tour. Before the tour starts they give everyone a sample of beer if they are interested ( you must be of legal drinking age to consume the alcohol). Children are welcome on the tour. The tour takes you all along the brewing process. The temperatures range from the 90's to the 40's. There are stairs to climb, however, they do offer an elevator for those who prefer. My only recommendation, is stay with the tour. We were snapping a couple of photos and in a minute we were lost. Luckily a girl came by and directed us where to go. The tour moves pretty quickly between areas. At one point after the packaging area, they have a large & comfortable area where they allow everyone 2 choices to sample for a lengthy list of options. These are not sample size - they are actually full glasses of beer. I do not really like beer, but tried the raspberry wheat which was pretty good for a beer. They also offer soda for those who do not want the beer as well as pretzels all included in your free tour. Then the tour takes you down to the outside where you can visit the gift store and/or go to the stables of the clydesdales. They are in their stalls so you can't touch them and the ones out to pasture are quite a distance away. However, on the 1st Saturday of every month between 1:00 - 3:00 you can pet the clydesdales. It was an enjoyable visit and would recommend this tour. The tour lasts about 1 1/2- 2 hours depending on how long you visit with the horses.
