We had dinner and then breakfast the next day--as we were staying at the hotel connected to the restaurant. My haddock was grossly overcooked and thus dry and had an overly sweet crumb topping.. The side veggies were extremely oily and undercooked (almost raw green beans). The steak my wife had was fine, and the stuffing and garlic mashed potatoes were divine. The service, though, was strange: at a nearby table the server cleared the plates from a couple by making a large stack right on the table (not what you would expect from fine dining!) and then at breakfast while I was waiting at the waffle station, a manager or server was discussing the specific details of how her family was "upchucking" throughout the house over the weekend because of the flu and how she had to work so hard to air the house out. Not exactly my idea of what I wanted to hear while waiting for breakfast. Beautiful view of the lake!
