I always get nervous when I read about a restaurant and it is set around a theme. Probably comes from my experience at Chucky Cheese :-).
The difference at Camp is, that though there is a theme, it is really all about the food. We had a group of 6 of us go while we were vacationing up at the lake. It is part of Mill Falls, so there are plenty of shops and places to walk right there.
When we got to the restaurant I was immediately struck by 2 things; 1. It is a very small restaurant so I was thankful we had made reservations. 2. Everyone was incredibly friendly and accomodating. Though the servers are called camp counselors, our server did not overdue this. I wish I could remember her name, but she was very knowledgeable and helpful in guiding us through a great meal. The "Crackers and Cheese" appetizer is an absolute must. It is basically a very flavorful flat bread cheese pizza, that has tremendous flavor served on a wood plank. We had 2 servings for 6 of us and barely had room for dinner. I then had the meat loaf, which also had tremendous flavor, with mashed potatos and gravy. Not necessarily the meal you want in mid-summer, but it was so good. My wife was not quite as impressed by the fried chicken as it was 3 smaller cutlets with gravy versus the pieces fo chicken she was expecting. The bill for all 6 of us, including drink,s was just over $150, so a great value too
Overall everyone was extremely happy we went there and you go back the next time we are up at the Lake .
