The view of the lake was breathtaking from our balcony! Actually the view was just as wonderful inside the room. There was a screened door so you could get fresh air and keep the bugs out. Hotel is conveniently located near the dock for lake cruises. The complex offers several nearby dining choices. Some of the restaurants will deliver to your room. Giuseppe's had great food. They have menus in the room directory.
Elevator was very small. A family will need to make several trips when moving their luggage.
Our room was very spacious. Over-sized couch and easy chair provided plenty of comfortable seating.
Bathroom was a decent size, but the layout could have been a little different to allow for a larger vanity. They need to at least put a small table by the tub to put your things on. We had a jacuzzi tub which worked great. Bathroom, however, was extremely hot.
There was a shelf just outside the bathroom for the coffeepot. While this seemed a little odd, it worked well. Room had a ref. but no micro.
Internet connected lightning fast and worked great.
Only downside - mattress and pillows were too soft for our taste.

We were welcomed to this hotel by the friendliest, most helpful receptionist you could possibly wish to meet. Over the next few days Dana made us feel like real friends and we enjoyed many chats with her and she was always full of recommendations.
The room was very clean and tidy and had a superb few from the balcony over the lake, however it appeared tired in its décor and needs a little refurbishment.
The Italian restaurant within the hotel offered good food and friendly staff and I would recommend it to anyone staying here. We also dined at The Chase House and had an excellent meal with friendly and efficient service.
Thank you Dana for making our stay so great....see you in Chicago !!!!!!

Room tip: Second and third floors have balconies overlooking the Lake.

We look forward to Bay Point every year.. Great surroundings..beds are very comfortable..but the porch is what makes me smile..Petunias overhead and below..just amazing...across the street you will find The Marketplace which includes great restaurants,Ben and Jerry's,a candy store, and the famous Mills Falls waterfall...

Room tip: Try to get a room on 3 that way you have petunias above and below...

Had 1 night here on a whistle stop work trip.
Stayed in room 436 which is the top floor. Rooms on this floor do not have a balcony, however, this did not detract from the lovely ambience of the room and hotel.
There is a small elevator which is large enough for just one/two people with luggage.
The room had a lovely view towards the lake.
Complimentary coffee/tea is served in the lobby.
If you prefer to have a balcony mke sure you are not allocated floor 4.
Beautiful converted offices, would stay here again.

Room tip: 4th floor rooms do not have balconies

We booked here to attend the Pond Hockey Classic. The location was perfect, very centrally located. The lake views can't be beat. The rooms were decorated nicely and very clean, and the lobby has a rustic, charming feel. We chose to eat off property during the trip, as the hotel restaurant was on a cafeteria plan during the event. Overall great, and the family would love to return in the summer!
