The location of the Inn is perfect. Every employee I interacted with was helpful, friendly and well trained in customer service. Room was nicely appointed though had way too many pillows for the window seats. Bedding and linens were top shelf and very comfortable.
I would not choose the 4th floor again for two reasons. Wifi was nonexistent in my room (437) and the hotel needs to add coverage. The 4th floor corridor was always hot and stuff though there were windows in the corridor the openers were missing, This is a negative because the room A/C ran constantly. A/C unit was loud and a nice facility like this really should run a quieter more energy efficient such as a Mitsubishi.
I enjoyed my visit and I will go back,

Room Tip: Avoid the 4th floor if WIFI is important. Avoid 4th floor in summer unless the Inn solves the hot co...

The view of the lake was breathtaking from our balcony! Actually the view was just as wonderful inside the room. There was a screened door so you could get fresh air and keep the bugs out. Hotel is conveniently located near the dock for lake cruises. The complex offers several nearby dining choices. Some of the restaurants will deliver to your room. Giuseppe's had great food. They have menus in the room directory.
Elevator was very small. A family will need to make several trips when moving their luggage.
Our room was very spacious. Over-sized couch and easy chair provided plenty of comfortable seating.
Bathroom was a decent size, but the layout could have been a little different to allow for a larger vanity. They need to at least put a small table by the tub to put your things on. We had a jacuzzi tub which worked great. Bathroom, however, was extremely hot.
There was a shelf just outside the bathroom for the coffeepot. While this seemed a little odd, it worked well. Room had a ref. but no micro.
Internet connected lightning fast and worked great.
Only downside - mattress and pillows were too soft for our taste.

We were welcomed to this hotel by the friendliest, most helpful receptionist you could possibly wish to meet. Over the next few days Dana made us feel like real friends and we enjoyed many chats with her and she was always full of recommendations.
The room was very clean and tidy and had a superb few from the balcony over the lake, however it appeared tired in its décor and needs a little refurbishment.
The Italian restaurant within the hotel offered good food and friendly staff and I would recommend it to anyone staying here. We also dined at The Chase House and had an excellent meal with friendly and efficient service.
Thank you Dana for making our stay so great....see you in Chicago !!!!!!

Room Tip: Second and third floors have balconies overlooking the Lake.

We look forward to Bay Point every year.. Great surroundings..beds are very comfortable..but the porch is what makes me smile..Petunias overhead and below..just amazing...across the street you will find The Marketplace which includes great restaurants,Ben and Jerry's,a candy store, and the famous Mills Falls waterfall...

Room Tip: Try to get a room on 3 that way you have petunias above and below...

Had 1 night here on a whistle stop work trip.
Stayed in room 436 which is the top floor. Rooms on this floor do not have a balcony, however, this did not detract from the lovely ambience of the room and hotel.
There is a small elevator which is large enough for just one/two people with luggage.
The room had a lovely view towards the lake.
Complimentary coffee/tea is served in the lobby.
If you prefer to have a balcony mke sure you are not allocated floor 4.
Beautiful converted offices, would stay here again.

Room Tip: 4th floor rooms do not have balconies

We booked here to attend the Pond Hockey Classic. The location was perfect, very centrally located. The lake views can't be beat. The rooms were decorated nicely and very clean, and the lobby has a rustic, charming feel. We chose to eat off property during the trip, as the hotel restaurant was on a cafeteria plan during the event. Overall great, and the family would love to return in the summer!

My husband and I got married 5 years ago by the lake at Church Landing. We spent one night at Church Landing and the remaining nights at Bay Point. Both are beautiful in their own right, but each year we return and stay at Bay Point. There is not a bad room in the place. I found Church Landing to be very warm throughout the entire hotel, but I don't have that problem at Bay Point. Each room is a direct lake-facing room--our favorite (besides the penthouse) is 437, which has a window seat and a little nook with a fireplace, and a jacuzzi. When we visit in October, it is it the perfect little getaway. The hotel has a lounge area past the front desk where coffee and hot chocolate are in full supply. I highly recommend Lago's for dinner and drinks. Frankly, there is not one bad thing I can say about the entire property and I can't wait for our next trip!
