A very special place. Everything is thoughtfully arranged, with great attention to detail and personal touches. My husband is vegan, and Eric prepared delicious vegan pancakes and french toast for him. It was really nice!

This lovely B&B offers afternoon tea (by reservation) with delicious sandwiches, scones, jams/jellies, petit-fours, other sweets, and of course, a delicious tea. The owner, Eric, served us and gave us some local history of the area and noted how close the Currier Museum is to the Inn.
After our tea, he gave us a tour of the rooms offered. The rooms are tastefully furnished with a Victorian flair and modern amenities. The Inn's location in Manchester is in a lovely part of Manchester and it's tempting us to return again soon!

Can't say enough about this Inn! The rooms are beautifully decorated and they have thought about every last detail to make your stay pleasant and comfortable. At breakfast you get a menu of options that Eric cooks up for you fresh when you order. Absolute perfection, will come back any time we find ourselves even remotely in the area!

We paid our 4th visit to the Ash Street Inn the first weekend of May 2012. It was, as always, warm and inviting. Even after 12 years in the business, Eric & Darlene haven't lost a bit of their enthusiasm for providing an exceptional lodging experience. They keep well ahead of the maintenance of the Inn, e.g., all of the bathrooms were updated & freshened in April 2012, although on our previous visit only 6 months previously, we considered them to be superior. Their attention to detail and to constantly enhancing guest services makes the Inn a very special place. This lovely Victorian provides the charm of the old (stained glass windows are gorgeous) and the luxury of the new. Eric and Darlene are down-to-earth, hardworking folks (they do it all themselves) who are skilled at engaging in as much or as little conversation and local recommendations as the guest wishes. We look forward to our next visit!

We only spent one night at the Ash St Inn and arrived later in the evening due to our flight. Arrangements had been made previously for entry so we made ourselves comfortable and there were some snacks left out for us.

The house is beautiful and very comfortable. The room and bathroom were large and well appointed and we both slept very well. We stayed in room 3 downstairs as the upstairs rooms were having work done on the bathrooms, this will only make them better.

The bonus of staying at the Ash St Inn was to be found in the morning when we met Eric and he made pancakes for breakfast. He went out of the way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. He is very proud of his establishment and of the service that they provide, as he should be.

This was definitely one of the highlights of the places we stayed whilst on holiday and we highly recommend the Ash St Inn.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 3 downstairs, but had a look at several others and they all seemed lovely.

My husband and I spent a night at the Ash Street Inn back in February. I cannot say enough about our wonderful stay! Eric and his wife were so sweet. Our room was beautiful. Comfy sheets and wonderful towels!! We were the only two at the inn but Eric would have made us anything for breakfast. There were also homemade cookies and scones. A fridge full of beverages and anything else we would want or need. If you are traveling to Manchester the Ash Street Inn is the only place to stay!!

We spent a week at the Ash Street Inn during February and we cannot say enough great things about the service, the room, the food, and the hospitality that we received while there. Eric is an amazing innkeeper and gave us great advice, directions and recommendations every day of our trip! The decor is gorgeous, the atmosphere was inviting and every comfort of home was provided. The B&B has a perfect central location in Manchester and is minutes (walking or riding) from EVERYTHING. The Ash St Inn is perfect for business travelers looking for a great alternative to a noisy hotel, perfect for couples looking for a romantic weekend and would also serve as a good option for families or friends passing through that want a more personal experience.

Room Tip: We loved room number 205, gorgeous decor, very quiet, comfy bed, and lots of great space!
