I went to Drynk with a large group of friends to celebrate an occasion. We had reservations made a few days earlier but the staff somehow didn't know about this. We were told to wait while they figure things out and in the meantime a young man checked our ID's. Some of us were from a different state so he took our ID's and then went somewhere to examine them closely I assume. All of us are 21 or older and had appropriate identification and were following the dress code. While he was gone, the hostess came back to seat us. Shortly after we were at the table, the guy came back with our ID's saying how all of them were suspicious and that a police officer will come later in order to scan them and verify that they are real. We didn't have a problem with this since we had nothing to hide. However, it was strange that they let us order drinks even though they thought our ID's were fake... It seemed like they wanted us to spend money there no matter what so they let us stay. The police officer never showed up and after having food and drinks the clubbing had started and more people were arriving. Earlier in the night the place was pretty empty although it was a weekend night. A few hours later, some of our friends went outside to smoke and were not allowed to come back because of their ID's even though they were just inside. The staff even said that they aren't supposed to let people from out of state into the club which is ridiculous! At this point part of the group chose to leave along with the people who couldn't get back in. Our night could have been much better but the staff's sketchy behavior ruined it for no legitimate reason. I do not recommend Drynk to anyone and will never return again.
