“Nice Park - Too Crowded”
Review of Livingston Park

I've been to Livingston Park/Dorr Pond a couple of times, as it is one of few walking spaces in the woods near downtown Manchester, and is easily accessible. The trail is well-trodden and well-maintained and is a short 25- minute loop around the small pond. I always enjoy coming here where dogs can be walked on-leash and the people are friendly. The down side is that there are lots of people, and there's lots of trash on the ground. If you want to get away from humans in the outdoors, this is not the place to go.

I will go back but will adjust my expectations for solitude next time.

This is a great little park. Clean, cute playground, beautiful during foliage. Bring bug spray and a camera!

I love taking my dog here so that we can walk the one mile loop in the woods. It is a pretty walk around a little pond. It is a very safe place for children, families, or solo outdoor enthusiasts whether you are there to walk, use the athletic fields, walk around the track, or fish in the pond.

This is a great park with a great pond with a brisk walk or jog. There are usually enough people around where safety is not an issue. He walkways through the woods are great for the kids to view frogs, fish and ducks. If you want to get out I highly recommend this as a Manchester visit.

Large parking lot, large kid's play area with modern jungle gyms and benches for adults, some picnic tables, soccer fields, a pool in summer, baseball fields and Dorr's Pond to walk around and many other trails in the wooded area of the park. What more do you want?

You fish in the pond, my son caught a good sized bass there years ago. There have been many improvements such as stone dust and widening of the main trail around the park, beefing up the bridge that crosses and a board walk installed in the 90's. Popular walking/running/picnic destination. Also there is a running track by the soccer fields.
