“Great Hotel Near the White Mountains”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2006

The Hampton Inn in Littleton NH is a great hotel. I stayed in the Jacuzzi suite and it was large! One room had a small bar/microwave area with a sink and a kitchen table. On the other side of the room was a couch, two chairs with tables and a TV. The bathroom was very clean and had nice toiletries available. In the bedroom(which was separated by French doors from the living area) there was another television and a jacuzzi tub in the corner of the room. The hotel itself was new and everything was still in great working order.

The pool area was small and I really didnt spend much time there but it looked nice.

In the morning Hampton Inn serves a nice continental breakfast for something quick to grab. There is also a Chinese restaurant that is across the street that was very good.

The center of town is very quaint and they have the world's largest candy counter which is 111 feet!! If you love sweets this is sure not to miss.

The White Mountain National Forest is not too far away and there are plenty of beautiful areas around the hotel and lots to see.

On Sundays in the fall season they also have a great farmers market which is near the grist mill.

I hope you will enjoy your stay at this hotel as much as I did! Enjoy!

I was driving up I-93 when I saw the Hotel. It was late; I was tired and wanted to go to bed. I pulled up to the door and heard a some Johnny Cash playing over the speakers which was great way to arrive. I knew that I hit the jackpot on this one. Went up to the desk and the front desk clerk was very helpful and hooked me up with a sweet room over looking the town. The best sleep I had in months I'm proud to say was at the Hampton Inn in Littleton. But the breakfast the next morning wasn't just your typical continental it was a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, danish, muffins, I could go on. All I got to say to this place is I will be back, oh yes I will.

We just arrived at the Hampton Inn in Littleton, New Hampshire
it is so beautiful I just had to hop on the computer in the lobby
and fill all of you in!!!. Do not hesitate to stay here, brand new.
All the great/good reviews are true...the hotel is very nice!!
Indoor pool, game room, fitness room, free continental breakfast, free newspaper, a little "grocery store" type area, to buy snacks,
milk etc....very smart...we have a microwave in our suite, so
don't forget to pack the popcorn. Our suite has a separate
sitting area, desk, tv, chairs, couch, a small kitchen type table
with 4 chairs, coffee machine, sink, counter, refigerator. All of that
is in the sitting room/living room. We also have a king size bed
another tv in our bedroom, a WALK IN CLOSET!!! 2 bureaus
for your clothes, another smaller closet in the hallway. The bathroom is nice, tub/shower comb. nice free standing vanity
nice size but smaller than some hotels we have stayed in.
Don't get me wrong, some of you would say its large...I am just
saying if it was a tad larger than it would be perfect!!!!
The staff at the front desk were friendly, passed out candies as
a welcome to the hotel. The staff suggested different places to
eat along with passing out maps!!!
If we are ever in this area again, we would stay HERE. Our king
suite in mid October is only $134 a night. I do not think that is
bad at all. Not for everything that you get. So if you go Littleton
Stay at the Hampton Inn!! We are glad we did.

What a great place for families! This hotel is perfect for an overnight stay, or for several nights to see local sight's!

We made a day trip up north to Storyland and Santa's Village last year, and the drive was agony! We swore that this year we would stay over. The Hampton Inn is absolutely what you would want and expect for this kind of trip. The location is perfect--about 20-30 minutes from everything. Straightforward and uncomplicated. Check in was a breeze. We purchased 2 nights, each as a package night. One night was a Storyland Package, the other was a Clarke's Trading Pose package. This hotel has many kid-friendly activity packages that include 3 tickets to whichever park you are planning on going to, and overnight accommidation. When I said check in was a breeze, I meant it! Literally, under two minutes to swipe room keys, and hand us our tickets to Storyland and Clarke's Trading Post. I had expected the hotel to only hand out one set of tickets per day--nope! Room keys, and tickets were handed to me all at once.

We booked a "King suite" or "Jr. Suite" (I can't remember), anyway, it consisted of two rooms. One was a living room with pull out queen bed, TV, gamecube, table and chairs and a little kitchonette! I love being surprised with extra amenities in hotels, and the minifridge (that actually worked), granite countertop, sink, and microwave was a wonderful surprise! The kids stayed in this room. Connected to the "main room" via a glass paned door (with a curtain), was the bedroom. Very comfortable king bed, TV, and an enormous double jacuzzi tub was located right in the room! The kids adored that. The main bathroom was near the main door to our room (like in most hotels), and was perfect. Good water pressure, tile and granite and new fixtures. They even had an oval-out shower curtain bar to prevent that pesky shower curtain liner from bugging you in the shower. Tons of towels, and the room was VERY clean and quiet.

I cannot stress the amount of ROOM in our hotel room. The rooms were absolutely huge. It was great.

This hotel was absolutely designed with kids in mind. The pool was PERFECT. Very clean and nice, and the deepest end of the pool was 5ft. The shallow end said 3, but in reality was about 2 1/2 feet! This pool was absolutely wonderful for our 5 yr old and 3 yr old. There was also a large hot tub for the adults.

No restaurant is located in the hotel, however, Applebees is located in the same parking lot as the Hampton Inn, and there are many other local and chain restaurants very close by. There is a Shaw's supermarket right accross the street, and a Walmart as well.

Overall, it was absolutely a perfect place to bring the kids for a kid-oriented trip. Highly recommended!

This hotel exceeded all our expectations. We stayed 3 nights and had 3 rooms, we really could not fault the staff, the rooms, the breakfast, anything. Great location to get around the White Mountains and good restaurants nearby, 2 good supermarkets across the road. During our 3 week tour around New England this hotel represented the best value for money by far, highly recommended.

Stayed at the Hampton Inn for just a one night stopover on our return trip from Quebec. The hotel was really everything one could have wanted for a very reasonable price. The rooms were large, clean and in perfect shape. The amenities were well above expectations....toletries, free internet, newspaper on the door, nice breakfast (but get there more than a half hour before breakfast ends if you want to get the hot food). Very nice fitness room and pool with a large hot tub. The hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. Also, the location is ideal....just off route 93. Several restaurants and stores (Walmart, etc) directly across the street and a short trip by car (minutes) from the center of Littleton. This property is ideal for a short stay in the area.

  • Liked — Large Rooms....well maintained.
  • Disliked — Not a scenic locale

This was our first stay at a Hampton Inn and we were very impressed - we more often use Holiday Inn/Express and this was definitely better.
The hotel is light, clean and spacious. Our room was well furnished and very comfortable with free broadband connection that worked first time (not always the case).
All staff we encountered were friendly.
Breakfast room was very comfortable and with a wide choice that was regularly replenished.
Not sure if this is typical of all Hampton Inns but we will use them again.
