What a lovely restaurant! When our entrees came, we were surprised to find that we were given a sampling of all of the sides that they were serving that day! I frequently pick my entree based on the side dishes, so it was nice to be able to try all of them. Unfortunately I had no room for dessert, but they gave us delicious truffles with our check. I highly recommend Tim-Bir Alley!

“Don't miss this excellent bistro!”
Reviewed April 3, 2012

very small, quiet couple-run restaurant - served on large plates, main dishes are surrounded by tastes of a great variety of vegetable and starches with interesting and tasty preparations - coconut cream cake was wonderful!

Creative use of seasonal vegetables with savory sauces. Always a treat to eat with Tim and Biruta.

“Tim-Bir Alley is a pleasant surprise”
Reviewed January 18, 2012

Isn't it great when you find a little gem in a little town in the middle of "nowhere"?? This cozy, bistro-like restaurant serves absolutely great food and provides excellent service by the Chef's (Tim) wife Biretta...thus the name of the restaurant...they started off with a place in an alley...so that name also stayed.

The limited but eclectic menu included for apps: Lentil/Wild Mushroom Soup, Grilled Eggplant with Warm Feta, Pork-Pecan Potstickers & Sauteed Scallops on Parmesan French Toast, priced from $5.95-9.95. Entrees:Lime-Olive Oil Salmon with Basil Sauce, Tiplapia with Pumpkin Seed Crust & Sweet Pepper Relish, Sauteed Shrimp (6) on Butternut Risotto, plus chicken, lamb & tenderloin entrees, priced from $18.95-28.95. Four wonderful dessert offerings included Chocalate-Hazelnut Pate,Maple Glazed Banana-Pecan Cake, Cranberry-White Chocolate Cheesecake, & Pear-Blueberry Tart, each costing 6.95. Food-5*, Service-5*, Ambience-4*, Value-4*, Wine List/Price-4*. We loved our sauteed shrimp on risotto & tournedos of beefentrees. Desserts were excellent. We will definitely return.
