We stayed for one night at the start of september. We were greeted by such a welcoming, happy and friendly man behind reception. He recommended a fantastic restaurant called the Woodstock inn which you should definitely visit if you get chance.
The accomodation was your typical motel room with en suite but it was clean and comfy, just what we needed for the night. It's located just off the highway which was fine and we could easily get to the sights of lincoln. We went crazy golfing which was great fun. I would definitely recommend this place, it's great value for money too.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This the 4th time my husband and I have stayed in one of the cottages. They are always very clean and comfortable. The owners are very helpful and friendly. We had a wonderful time exploring some of the local hiking trails and biking. There is always lots to in Lincoln. We are looking forward to our next trip up to Profile Motel & Cottages!

We enjoyed our stay at the Profile. This was our first time getting a motel room instead of a cabin. I expected there to be a bit of noise from the neighbors on each side of us but I heard nothing at all. It was very nice. Housekeeping was great and the proprietors friendly.

Room Tip: We've stayed in both the motel and cottages. Enjoyed both experiences.

My family and I stayed in one of the cottages last week at Profile. They are very clean, well priced and on a nice beautfiul piece of land with a flowing brook in the back. Jim at the front desk is phoenominal and his cleaning staff are second to none. Last week my husband, son and I spent a nigt there while visiting the New Hampshire area. We woke Wednesday morning packed our bags, loaded the car and set out for next destination which was about 2 hours away in Portsmouth. When we got there and were unloading the suitcases from the car I asked my husband where our laptop was? We both looked at each other and realized at the same moment that we had left our BRAND NEW laptop in the cottage. As our hearts sunk we checked into our new hotel and went to our rooms and called Jim. Being from Florida we were certain that the laptop was gone and we were out the $600 that we spent out on it less than a month ago, but much to our surpirse as soon as Jim answered the phone he let us know that he had our laptop and even offered to drive half way and meet us so that we did not have to make the full two hour trip back to get it. We did not take him up on and instead drove the entire way back the next day to get but we appreciated the offer none the less. We were both dumbfounded when told us that the housekeeper (Beatra) had found it and turned it in immediately. The honesty at that place amazed us as we were certain that it was gone. That you Jim and Beatra for your kindness, consideration and honesty in a day and age when those qualities are hard to be found. Your cottages are GREAT and the location can't be beat. You are near many attractions such as the Old Man Memorial, the Flume, The Basin, Cannon Mountain Tram, Clarks Trading Post and not too far from Loon Mountain. We visit the New Hampshire area often and because of this most recent experience we will definetly be back.

Room Tip: Cabins 4 and 5 are close to the brook.

My 17 year old son and I have been coming here for a couple of years now. We hike, bike and do other outdoor actvities in the Franconia Notch area.

The motel rooms are always very consistent and very clean. All the windows open and there is a screen door on the entrance to let all that fresh mountain air in. The beds are very comfortable and present a good night's sleep for the weary hiker. The water temperature in the shower is alway consistently warm with very good water pressure.

We stay in room 17 or 18, which has two full size comfortable beds. Room 17 is the largest room and has a sink in the bathroom, of course, and one in the main room. Both rooms have a small dining table. There is a fridge and microwave in each.

The only thing I wish is that there was an exhaust fan in the bathrooms. There is just a small window you can open.

There is a gas station/general store and deli next door that sells everything including beer and wine - very convenient.

The pool is good, although somewhat chili in late August because the night temperature drops in the high 50's.

The lighted fire in the fire pit out back is awesome!! Bring a rack of beers and share them with your guests or other motel guests. A great time always!

BTW, Dan is awesome! A real nice guy. He is a real person, not some overly friendly fake innkeeper.

My husband and I stayed here because our friends recommended it. We are so glad they did. This was a great place with scenic grounds and a great staff. Everyone was really friendly and helpful. The owner Jim was a great host. We stayed in cabin #1 and it was perfect. Clean and cozy. It is close to all the attractions in the area, so it made this place very convenient to stay at. We didn't want to leave. We will definately stay here again next year for our vacation.
