“Great little place”
Reviewed October 17, 2013

Gypsy Cafe is a really quirky little place. We ended up eating here twice - partly (we must be honest) because there weren't that many alternatives in Lincoln, but also because there were a number of really tasty looking dishes that we wanted to try!
They don't specialise in one cuisine, they offer one or two dishes from a number of different countries; and they do them really well! We didn't have a bad meal (or a bad drink) here, although the waitress did forget about our drinks for a while!
All in all, would highly recommend this Cafe - there really is something for everyone on the menu!

“Worth going back for!”
Reviewed October 16, 2013

You can't beat a beautiful autumn day in NH, and the Gypsy Cafe was perfect for a hearty afternoon meal after hiking at Mt. Moosilauke. The hostess station wasn't entirely efficient, but it worked with the family-run atmosphere. There's seating both inside and out, lots of windows and light and views of the White Mountains.

The menu is eclectic but very well executed. We had curry wings, felafel and a burger--everything was delicious, and we overheard diners at nearby tables giving similar (and enthusiastic!) compliments.

A craft fair was going on across the street, so the energy in town and in the restaurant was really warm and welcoming.

“Everyone cleared their plates”
Reviewed October 13, 2013 via mobile

We came on recommendation of trip advisor and yet again, you can not go wrong with the #1 restaurant! Dishes are complex, full of flavor, and just plain great. We started with the corn and zucchini cakes. Then enjoyed the Jamaican ribeye and Navaho pasta (pumpkin & goat cheese sauce with a kick). I was all amazing topped off with pumpkin crisp (homemade by Claire). Do not pass this place up. You'd be smart to mark reservations as you probably won't magically get a spot at the bar like we did! While sitting at the bar we noticed that everyone eats everything on their plates -- it's that good!

“A very special place, don't go anywhere else and don't miss the pumpkin crisp”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

We were just passing through the otherwise unremarkable town of Lincoln as part of a leaf peeping tour and were delighted to find this wonderful food heaven. Gypsy Café truly stands out in Lincoln, and would do so in many bigger towns and cities. The greeting was warm and friendly, the service fast and efficient, and best of all the food was superb. They've gone to a lot of effort to make the place look fun and attractive with lots of mosaic and colour, we've never seen anywhere like this before. Gypsy Café offers food from around the world and all meals looked good while people were eating. My pasta dish was delicious, but the winner was the pumpkin crisp, one of the finest desserts we've had anywhere, do not miss this during the pumpkin season. Having eaten a superb meal plus some local pumpkin beer the bill was extremely reasonable. We booked and came back the following evening, this place is so popular even in this small town that the queue was out the door. NOT TO BE MISSED
