This place (one of several CM locations) can run good or mediocre. Fair prices, good portions, usually busy. Nothing out of the ordinary menu0wise. Nice atmosphere, you always know what to expect. Great for families looking for something a ".little nicer than the typical "family restaurant:

Their steaks, ribs, stuffed shrimp which we've had are delicious. I never leave until I have the famous baked apple. The cheese and crackers before dinner are a delight.

Came here with my friends and enjoyed the free cheese/crackers. Each of us ordered a different meal and all of them looked delicious. We all cleaned our plates! The bread that came with the meal was yummy too. Places around here close earlier than places where I live, so make sure you know the hours.

After several years, we were all pleased to be back at the C-Man, a family favorite. We arrived early to sit in the bar area, which has a wonderful fireplace, laid-back and friendly atmosphere, helpful service and the variety of cheese and crackers mentioned by other reviewers. We were seated for dinner in a timely manner, and had a friendly, expert waitress who handled a large party extremely well. The food, which has been excellent in the past, was unfortunately not good. The escargot, a prior favorite, were covered in large amounts of relatively flavorless cheese and drenched in oil with a wee bit of garlic. Although the general idea was good, one had to search for (relatively tough) morsels of duck in a pasta dish, which would have benefited from smaller portion and inclusion of more (tender) duck and vegetables. The prime rib and a seafood dish were also disappointing. In general, it seemed that cheese and cream were used with a liberal hand, at the expense of other flavor or quality. That being said, several noted that the french onion soup was the best they'd ever had. The white chocolate at the end of the meal was a very nice touch. We hope that it was just an off night, as we love this spot. Next time, however, the group is considering eating in the bar, where the burgers and pizza looked great.
