Spent two hours with our guide, Adam. The ride is on an old railroad track and is a dedicated, maintained ATV trail. Mostly in the woods and much of it parallels a river so the scenery is actually quite nice. Speed limit on trail is 25 mph and you can tell him to take is a slow or fast as you like. He leads. We had the good fortune to ride just after a rainstorm so there were some great puddles to splash through. You could avoid them if you wanted (but why?). I never felt out of control or unsafe. This was my first time on an ATV. The maintained trail riding is a real plus. I would like to return in the fall

Me and my girlfriend took the one hour ATV tour with our guide Tim and he was amazing. We have done a few tours like this before in California, Texas and even the Bahamas and this buy far was the best one. Mostly due to Tim he does such a wonderful job keeping you safe and feeling comfortable on the machines. He goes above and beyond what anyonther tour guide we have had has done before. The ATS's were in outstanding condition very new and clean. We will be back for sure. Gery is also very kind and helpful.

Awesome experience overall. I purchased the 1 hour tour as a gift for my boyfriend and I and we redeemed it last month (August). Our guide was very knowledgeable, fun, a great teacher, and just a really nice cool guy. For 2 first timers, we felt very safe and went through the basics over and over again in the training area until we felt totally comfortable going out on the actual trails. By the end of the hour, we were zooming up and down steep hills, around sharp turns, splashing through mud puddles, and dominating large obstacles with no hesitation. It was extremely fun and definitely an adrenaline rush. Would absolutely recommend this adventure to all my friends. Can't wait to go back for the 2 hour tour next time! Thanks again DirtVentures!! ~Jess & Steve from RI

We took an ATV trip through DirtAdventures (via Woodward's Resort) on 6Jun12 and had an awesome time! Our tour was booked through Woodward's for 10 and we were asked to be there 15 minutes early (we were). There was some miscommunication, as the tour operators arrived at 10 for what they were told was a 1030 tour. No big deal. When we pulled into park, it looked like someone's house and we thought we were at the wrong spot. Nope! The staff was friendly and helpful and had CLEAN helmets/gloves for us to wear. Word of warning: you will get dirty! Wear appropriate clothing- if you bring a change of clothing, you'll have to change in your car as there was only a port-a-potty available.

Now to the good stuff- our tour operator (Tim) was excellent! He showed us proper function of the machines and we did a lot of practicing on the dirt sandpits and up and down the hills to practice braking and dealing with some mud. We had signed up for the 1.5 hour tour and it was great- we stopped a few times throughout the tour to take pictures and chat. He thought we were doing well for beginners and took us down a challenging very muddy path (awesome, but a good challenge!).

Tim told us that the land we were on was being leased by their company and that he had hand cut all the trees on the paths (they were definitely rough, no smooth easy paths here!). I imagine by the end of the season the little stumps and things will be smoothed away but we truly enjoyed the challenge of navigating the trails.

Overall, a great tour. We weren't sure when we got there, but it turned out awesome! We would definitely recommend this company and would book again next time we're up here. If you are looking for a slow boring trail ride, this is not for you!
