The motel is recently renovated, clean, and comfortable. Staff is friendly and courteous. The complimentary breakfast was good. We enjoyed our 2-day stay.

This was for two nights as it was centrally located to areas in Vermont and New Hampshire that we wanted for Fall Colors and the two National Park sites we wanted visit. The weather was intermittent rain during our stay. Upon arrival it was pleasant looking and located in a secluded area near the local West Lebanon airport, but it was quiet. The clerk was friendly and told us that this hotel was remodeled after it was taken over by Baymont Inn.

The breakfast area was small but appealing and fine for the few people staying there, since it was past tourist season. The continental breakfast was adequate with waffle maker.

We had a double bed room which was fine. We noticed that the ironing board was unfolded in the room and we couldn't collapse it. We called the clerk that this was a problem but she couldn't help us since she was the only person at the hotel and couldn't leave the front desk. So we ask that it be done the next day during the maid service, but it wasn't. It remained opened and took up space.

We did not have any real problems at the Baymont. Room was decent and reasonably clean.

Despite that they claim to have remodeled, the place was a bit weary looking when you looked close. I suspect this is a recycled motel from some other brand. I would stay here again but might pay a few bucks more for one of the other near-by motels.

We had no problem with insects or smoke. We had a king sized bed on the first floor.

Breakfast is the standard cereal, fruit, make-your-own-waffle, etc.

The hotel is a basic limited service franchise property. However, the hotel has been renovated including new beds and linens. Its not as nice as the Hampton, Comfort Suites, HIE, or Marriott products in town, but it is the best bargain. Use the AAA rate and save $30 bucks over the Comfort Suites.

The front office was very friendly and accomodating. The room and bath was clean. The towels were very thin and small. The breakfast was a bit lacking but I suppose adequate for a quick bite but the hotel charges $7 extra each day for the convenience whether you eat there or not. One could do better and have eggs at nearby restaurants. The entire second floor was for smoking. I stayed on the first floor but the odor was so strong that I actually got sick from breathing all the second hand smoke in the hotel. I had to do some laundry and the laundry room was on the second floor so in bringing my clean clothes back down to my room--everything ended up smelling like cigarettes. The very worst thing was that my bed had bed bugs. I woke up with little bites all over my back. Really would not recommend this place and will not stay here again.
