Ok, let me start by saying that all our friends highly recommended this place to us. They love the pizza, the local milk, the variety offered. We stopped in one afternoon after running errands in West Lebanon to pick up a couple of pizzas to take home.

Sadly, our experience was not like our friends'. The restaurant appeared spacious and clean, with a nice-looking selection of pizza by-the-slice available. The staff was nothing short of rude and couldn't be bothered to 1)acknowledge our presence 2) answer basic questions 3) get the order right or 4)do anything more than refund us the cost of one topping when they made the wrong pizza for us. And when we got our pizza home, we found it to be the blandest, most tasteless pizza we had ever had. We pitched it and found something else to eat for supper.

It has been many months now, and we keep thinking we should give it another try, but haven't yet summoned the courage.

Stopped in last week to try the place out and came away pretty impressed. Nice spacious interior with several choices of type of seating, including high top tables, booths or a bar. Pizza is already made and you can order by the slice. My wife had the Cody Salad consisting of chunks of pesto chicken, baby spinach, sun dried tomatoes, artchoke hearts and mozzarella cheese. She really liked it and in mentioning that to the server, he smiled a big smile and said, "Thanks, I am Cody!" I had the two slice special which includes a soda. My slices were the mushroom margherita (a slight variation on the usual tomato, basil and mozzarella, in that it included mushrooms) and the Greek (feta, black olives and peppers). Both slices looked and tasted fresh. We both enjoyed the visit and will be back.

Everything I had was pretty good and they had a wider range of items than most delivery places in the area. However, I liked C&S better for the italian style dishes.

If you want an excellent pizza in a very family friendly atmosphere, you want to go to Ziggys. My family ate there and because they were so busy, the pizza took a little while to come out. However, it was well-worth the wait. We'll be back!

We have recently been popping into Ziggy's after shopping in the West Lebanon area. It's located in a small strip mall, near Staples, off Rt 12A. Right in the heart of the West Lebanon shopping area. The restaurant is somewhat similar to the Ramunto's in that they have a variety of pizzas made out on display and you can buy by the slice. The comparison ends there though We really think the Ziggy's pizza is much better than Ramuntos. Ziggy's has a tremendous selection of pizzas, from the usual pepperoni, or hawaiian, to their own versions of buffalo chicken pizza, macaroni and cheese pizza (yum!), and lasagne pizza (double yum!). On our last visit, they had at least 15 choices ready to order.

The pizzas, though premade and very fresh, and they take each slice you order and pop it into the pizza oven for a few minutes to warm and crisp it up. They come out in a few quick minutes hot and ready to eat. So much better than calling in a pizza order 30 minutes ahead (though they do take phone orders as well).

They do have specialty burgers and hotdogs and other menu selections if you are not up for pizza, but we haven't made it past the long line of pizzas. :-)

The girls love ordering their chocolate milk, which comes in a mason jar type mug. The milk is from a local dairy and is creamy and delicious. They also have beer and soft drinks available.

The seating area is quite large with plenty of booths and tables. There is a small game room in the back, past a bar area, where they have a handful of arcade games.

There are several flat screen TV's on the walls and an overall nice relaxed atmosphere.

Overall, a great place to stop for a not-so-basic slice of pizza after shopping your way up and down Rt 12a.
