“Many improvements in 2012”

This was our second year in a row staying at this hotel after visiting Santa's Village. We requested the suit we stayed in the year before (it has a nice view) and we were very happy with all the improvements to the room. New bed, flat screen TV, Carpeting (which made the room smell fresh) and new tile floor in the bathroom. The owner explained to us that he and his family are making updates as much as their budget will allow. I don't swim in the pool but the kids love it, there are always guests swimming in it. I would NOT go in the hot tub! We usually grab a pizza from Santa's Village before we leave the park at night and eat it back in our room and I pack breakfast . There is no room service. The AC unit doesn't do a great job of cooling the room off but the night air is usually cool enough. It would be nice to have more ice machines too. Our 5 year old sleeps on the pull out coach and there is still room for the pack n play. We have to move some of the furnishings around since our little son climbs EVERYTHING. All in all the room had great improvements, fits our family of 4 just fine and we look forward to our visit/stay in the same suit next year!

Room Tip: bring your own coffee and filters for the standard coffee maker. Also bring dish soap and a sponge...

After spending the day at Santa's Village, this was a nice surprise. The service was very friendly at check in. The room as very clean, and the beds where phenominal as far as hotel beds go.

The pool was nice, but a little dark. This hotel has a phenominal fitness center. Not your typical hotel fitness center. It's large and has a lot of equipment options.

Room Tip: We paid extra for a room with a view, which it did have, but I probably wouldn't bother if I wen...

Traveled with husband & 3 children for trip to Santa's village. I chose this hotel last minute because I don't like to stay in "motel" titled places. I feel safer with the children in hotels or inns. Don't let the name fool you! The room was musty smelling; the tub floor felt slimey! The room had an terrible feel. The heated pool was freezing! The liner & stairway to pool was yellow..gross! Theyoung girl that checked us in was unfriendly; and the place had a nursing home feel. I should have left then. She was even more unfriendly during the contential breakfast ..when she miserably added more juice! if you even want to call it a contential breakfast. Prepackaged Danish bagels & weird cookies. I work in a prison& these are the foods they serve prisoners. This inn is more like a 39.99 a night inn. Do your family a favor & stay somewhere else! For the record I have never posted on a hotel before..this is the first time..that is how awful this place & workers were. I will continue to post on all and every website to warn families of this place. We as families work hard for our money, to waste it on a place like this is a shame! Email me any comments or if management would like to acknowledge this comment & experience dnunez4987@Aol.com

Room Tip: Don't stay at this hotel!

This hotel looks like it used to be someplace special. Now it is okay. The pool is too cold, which seems to be a common way for hotels to cut their expenses. The pub was nothing special - the grill was closed before 9 pm. The rooms are clean yet sparse. It was ok for a night. If you are looking for something special, you should probably look elsewhere. If you are looking for a clean place to spend a night, this place is okay.

The Cabot Motor Inn's main building is spacious and sits on attractive grounds. It is easy to find for travelers in the White Mountains area. Rooms are comfortable with good space and are well-furnished. Rather oddly, there was no information about the hotel or its services in the room, and, when asked, the front desk provided only a copy of the television channel listing but no other room/service information. Toiletries in the room were somewhat sparse, e.g. one small packet (not bottle) of shampoo for two people . Breakfast is not included in the hotel rate, though the restaurant in the hotel serves breakfast (and the motel's online information says that when the restaurant is not open, guests have a free continental breakfast). I would recommend the hotel to someone else for the general comfort of the rooms, though I would be careful to describe what seems like unnecessary frugality with room amenities. For us, the location was convenient for a fall foliage trip that focused on northern New Hampshire.

We have stayed at this hotel in the past and wanted to come back because of the views. Santas Village & Six Gun City are minutes away right down the street. The hotel does have a restaurant & pub and both were very good. Not many other places around to eat since this is way out there up in the mountains. The hotel is currently putting in new phones TV's and beds. They were in that process during our stay. We didn't get to try a new mattress since they didn't do our room but did get the new flat screen TV & phone. Hotel staff are very friendly.

Room Tip: We had 2 queen beds in our room and the room is a nice size. Staying in the back facing the mountai...
