I'll keep it simple - my family feels that, outside the NYC area, there are 3 superior pizza places in the United States. One in Virginia Beach, one in Nashville, and Amicci's. Understand that we have to drive 30 minutes to get to Amicci's, passing 7 other "pizza" shops in the process, and we do so readily. The pizza's have always been perfect - dry crust, sweet New York sauce that's a bit runny. Got to fold it to eat it! And the owner is friendly as well, always smiling, greeting you, and raising money for some local family/ cause as well. In the summer we like to sit outside on their tables, watching the people. Wish I could give a 6 rating. Oh yes, the price . . . @ $10 for a large cheese pie they could raise their prices and keep their business (hope the owner doesn't read this!).
