Owner description: Muddy Paw Sled Dog Kennel is the premier dog sled touring operator in New England. We offer year round dog sledding adventures that range from 2 - 50 miles (including overnights). All of our dog sledding experiences are designed to be hands on to the comfort level of the guests. Participants ages 2 and up are given the opportunity to meet and greet our rescue and second chance sled dogs, help harness and hitch their team and even help drive the sled (at musher discretion for guests and dog safety of course)! As always, the proceeds generated from our kennel based tours go directly to covering the expenses involved in taking in these incredible canine athletes and providing them with a home and job for life.

“Whitewater rafting”

This was a fun day on the river. Our guide was great. We did the tour with the lunch. The place we stopped was nice but the food was very average and small portions.

“Like dogs?”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

They have well over a hundred rescued dogs. They do sledding in the winter and a cart on wheels in the summer. The best part is the dogs. When you arrive everyone is barking and jumping and running. You could swear they would eat you alive. However all they want is contact. They are gentle, dirty but gentle. Anyone who likes dogs should go there. And the sled ride was a lot of fun. The staff is great - dog lovers who are doing what they like

“Dog Sledding in the summer?”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

Such an amazing experience! I loved that you got to meet all of the dogs and help get them ready for the run. Can't wait to try it in snow.

“A Great Time”
Reviewed June 23, 2012

We brought our daughter and did a rolling dogsled trip with our 5 year old daughter. The guide was great with her and we all had a really good time. We want to go back and do a winter trip.

“A must for dog lovers and thrill seekers”
Reviewed June 19, 2012

A truly remarkable experience- the guides teach you all about the dogs, their behaviors and also about the history of the area. They even let you drive the sled if you feel up to it. We went during the winter although they are open year-round. There isn't much else to do in this area but this is definitely a highlight.
