We stopped after an exhausting hike up & down Mt Monadnock. Unfortunately, we got there at 2:20 after the kitchen closed at 2. They said we could have soup and a salad. The french onion soup was tasty; the salads fantastic- piled high with lots of extras (I got the New Hampshire-spinach with goat cheese, green apple, and nuts with maple vinaigrette on the side- a little sweet.) The whole wheat home made rolls were hot and delicious. We were treated like royalty by the very friendly staff. A great recommendation by some locals.
