After eloping in New Hampshire, my wife and I went to stay at the Inn at Jackson for four days. We have stayed at many Bed and Breakfasts (as well as nicer hotels), as we do a lot of traveling. We can say - unequivocally - that the Inn at Jackson is PERFECT! First, it's very clean (that's always our major concern). The location is great; not right in the hustle and bustle of North Conway, but just a few minutes outside the tourist spots. We love mountain hiking, and the Inn is close to Mount Washington and other natural attractions in the White Mountains. The Breakfasts were wonderful - considering both quality and quantity. We had ours served up at our room for a few mornings, which was a nice touch. However, the downstairs 'communal' breakfast was great, too, as there are separate small tables for each guest party if you don't like being forced eating with everyone at the B&B. Don, the Innkeeper, was friendly and knowledgeable about the area, as you'd expect. But he made the extra effort to try and think of ways to customize our visit based on our unique set of circumstances, which we greatly appreciated. Good restaurants nearby, incredible views, and a great massage at Moondance. The Inn at Jackson deserves its reputation - it's absolutely perfect. We will be back next year!

  • Liked — Our beautiful, spacious, spotless room with a comfortable, king-sized bed.
  • Disliked — That we had to leave at the end.

If you're looking for a wonderful Inn with friendly knowledgible hosts and staff, lovely rooms with just a little extra, a phenomenal breakfast, beautiful scenery, both shopping and outdoor activities, you need to reserve a room at the Inn at Jackson. Having visited the area a couple of times several years ago and stayed somewhere else, I returned with my daughter and decided to book our mother/daughter getaway at the Inn after visiting their excellent website and reading all the glowing reviews online. It was an excellent decision. The Innkeepers clearly care about your experience and go out of their way to make it what you want, whether it's suggesting restaurants in the area or places of interest to visit. I can't say enough good things about our stay and sincerely hope to return.

The Inn at Jackson is a beautifully appointed bed and breakfast. The new owners have worked with their designer to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is an attention to detail at the Inn that is pleasing to all of the senses, the music playing, the furnishings (including the most comfortable king size bed I've ever had the pleasure to sleep in), the yummy breakfasts prepared by Don, the hot tub with the complimentry turkish bathrobes...All of the details add up to a relaxing stay.

Don and Joyce were very helpful with suggestions for dining and for working off the breakfasts and gourmet dinners in the beautiful White Mountains. Whether you are interested in hiking, skiing, kayaking, of just relaxing by a roaring fire after a day of outdoor activities, the Inn at Jackson is the perfect home base. New England at it's best. We look forward to returning to the White Mountains and the Inn at Jackson.

Indeed the Inn's slogan rings true:
"Enter as our guest, leave as our friend."

This Inn was recommended by friends, and their assessment was right on the money. The property exudes a quiet elegance and felt welcoming from the minute we walked through the door.

The Innkeepers are a wealth of knowledge and directed us to some outstanding dining in the town of Jackson, which is the quintessential New Hamshire town.

It's always interesting to see how much the entities with whom I spend my hard earned vacation dollars care about whether or not my experience is a good one, and the folks at the Inn at Jackson obviously care a great deal.

Highly recommended, this may be a trip we make every year.

Unfortunately we only booked for one night on our journey from bar harbor to burlington but what a fabulous place and a very professional and extremely friendly innkeeper. we arrived to find that the local bear had been prowling around on the porch outside our assigned room the previous evening!! however don very kindly gave us the run of the house as we were the only guests and we selected the andrew frost room. this is also known as the honeymoon suite and it was a beautiful room. without doubt we would never have had the same facilities in a hotel even if we paid twice the price. the open fireplace and log fire was the icing on the cake although the delicious breakfast came a close second. please visit the inn at jackson for a stay to remember.

My wife and I just returned from a relaxing and fun weekend.
The new owner made us feel very welcome and was most accommodating. Our package included a voucher at Thompson's restaurant where we were treated with great service and a superior meal despite it being a Sunday evening. At the Inn we were able to receive a complimentary cross-country ski
ticket and begin our morning ski trip literally out the backdoor. Our room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated, pleasantly quiet and offered a lovely view to the west. The hot tub was an added bonus. And for those like my wife who enjoy poking around there is delightful gift shop at the foot of the hill filled to the ceiling with whimsical treats. We hope to return during the summer.
