“A slice of heaven!!”
Reviewed September 26, 2012 via mobile

We just spent 2 nights in the Robert Frost room and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful, the rooms decorated in lovely florals and the bed very comfortable. We were the only ones staying in the house the first night and Chris the innkeeper made us feel right at home. The flowers and grounds give you the feel that you're in a cozy mt village and the hot tub in the evening, was heavenly after a long walk in the woods. Thank you Chris for a delightful stay!!!

First time at the inn. Everyone from the inn keeper...Chris to the waitstaff to housekeeping were so kind and happy!!! I would go there again and again! The breakfast was sooo yummy. Chris is a fantastic cook! And, she was so happy to feed my son..who never got up in time for breakfast..as she was for my nephew!!! I can't wait to go back!!!

I was recently looking online for a place to stay in the White Mountains and came across the Inn at Jackson. I read some of the reviews and decided to give it a try. We couldn't have asked for more. We booked a room on the third floor which was very cozy and comfortable. There are 15 rooms at the Inn and although they were all booked up it was always very quiet. We . enjoyed the hot tub in the evening out back looking up at the stars that looked so close you could almost touch them. Breakfast every morning was fantastic. I have stayed at many B&Bs and have never had a choice of 4 different dishes every morning (all delicious!). The grounds are even more beautiful than the pictures show. There is also a nice walking trail nearby and a beautiful covered bridge down the road. We were also able to walk to dinner. All in all we had a wonderful time and would definitely go back.

The Jackson Inn is a turn of the last century house buit by Stanford White and as such has a lot of charm. It is just steps away from the center of town and yet is in a quiet corner of Jackson. Lots to do in the area and truly a gateway to the mountains. While quaint, the inn is sorely in need of a good updating. The trappings of a modern B&B are sort of there but things just seem to be missing a step. As an example, our room was equipped with a gas fireplace, but the pilot flame generated so much heat during the warm summer nights that we had to run the loud window air conditioner nonstop in order to keep the room temperature tolerable. I had to repair the toilet a couple of times to get it to stop running (I did let the staff know that it didn't work properly but it didn't get fixed during our stay).

Breakfasts were tasty, although not particularly imaginative. Service was OK. Nice afternoon snacks.

The Inn is a good place to stay away from the hubbub and tourist areas of North Conway. They just need to take the extra steps to move from OK to very good.

Just spent a fab weekend at the Inn at Jackson. The hotel staff will kill you with kindness. Chris and her mom make you feel right at home. Literally! And Tiffany our waitress was the nicest and sweetest person. The rooms are terrific with gas fireplace. Breakfast is great with two options for seating. Inside next to the fireplace to take off the chill of the cool mountain mornings or out on the enclosed porch with great views down into the town center.Great food too. Locations is perfect. A few minutes stroll to Jackson center and just a few minutes more over to (don't miss) Jackson Falls. Have a picnic at the falls and go for a swim. There's nothing better. If you're planning a stay in the Mount Washington Valley area stay in Jackson and stay at the Inn at Jackson.
I can't say enough about my stay at the Inn at Jackson except that I will be back.

WE JUST LOVED IT!
ok, any Inn in Jackson will cost you a bit more than a motel down in NC. But this one is worth every cent of it. Typically a clean bed and bathroom is enough for us when we do an outdoor-vacation, but there are two big pluses here:
1. it's in Jackson! Such a lovely place! Quiet, nice, beautiful. A couple of restaurants, a VERY good bakery and the nice falls are within within walking distance. FOR RUNNERS: you'll find a up/downhill 5 mile circle just by following the 16B(A?). There's also a shorter one mile flat circle. Just ask. Roadbikes were also common among guests. And it's close to every kind of hike. (And after that, you'll enjoy the huttub...)
2. it's the INN AT JACKSON!
hosts often tell you to make yourself at home, this is the first place it ever worked for us. Not only was the Inn beautiful. The whole atmosphere was also just relaxing. And the breakfast...... I'm lacking the words to describe it. Just try it out, and if you need sth different than the daily specials, you'll get it, and it's cooked with love as we say in German ;-)
The only bad point: it's a 20hour journey away from Germany :-(((((

Came across this inn while searching for a romantic getaway for our anniversary. It was my first experience staying at a B&B, and I was pleasantly suprised. We initially booked for 3 nights and quickly added a 4th night and would have stayed longer, if the room wasnt already booked. Chris, the Inn keeper is great. She is super friendly and made us feel right at home. She was attentive to all of our needs and takes pride in keeping her guests happy. Our room (#5) was perfect, exactly how it was pictured online. There was plenty of closet space and room to unpack all our belongings in the dressers. The king bed was comfortable and had plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The bathroom was pretty modern and clean, but the shower was a little small. We lit the fireplace every night with the logs provided for us and even got extra logs from the front desk. Breakfast was fantastic and the service was great. They offer 4 choices daily (usually 2 egg dishes, pancakes and french toast) and also serve muffins or scones while your waiting for your food. Dont miss the homemade granola, it is delicious. Every afternoon there is a snack and drink (brownies and lemonade or chips with salsa and iced tea) served There is an outdoor hot tub on the back porch and robes are provided, which was a great touch. Had a great time star gazing in the hot tub and meeting some of the other guests. The grounds are beautiful and within walking distance to a local swimming hole and waterfall. The location is great, centrally located between storyland and the entrance to Mt. Washington, with convient access to North Conway, Conway, and other local attractions. Had an amazing time and cant wait for next years visit. Thanks again Chris, see you next year!!!
