“Wonderful food and atmosphere”

We had dinner here and it was wonderful. We sat on outside overlooking the mountains and watched the sun set. Food and service was great.

“Excellent food, service and location”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

We ate here once for dinner. Our Inn made the reservation. When we arrived (earlier than reserved) they prepared a table ourside at the veranda, which was very nice (and will become even nicer after they had installed the illumination of the garden). Ellen was our courteous waiter, a nice Brit chap. The kitchen seems having a slight Italien touch, which nicely mingles with the American style. The wine was excellent, and they even served the red pinot noir chilled. The restaurant manager was up for a chat too, who recently came over from the busy West Coast spots. The Inn is in new hands for not so long and it will be seen how it improves even further. All together a rememberable experience.

“outstanding food”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

We ate dinner 5 nights and were never disappointed. The chef's choices/creations are outstanding. The pan-seared trout was the week's special and was succulent.

“Very poor excuse for rack of lamb”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

My husband and I made reservations for our 17th wedding anniversary and were thrilled with our lovely table on the porch. Service was excellent, salmon appetizer was delicious and then our entrees arrived. My pork osso bucco was fine, but the three teeny dried up ribs that were suppose to be medium rare racks should never have come out of that kitchen. They were less than a half inch thick and more like one fourth of an inch. Totally dry, and as a special, they were extremely poor quality. Later that evening, we stopped at a diner for ice cream and the restaurant there served three beautiful chops with mashed potatoes for one third the cost. Won't be going back for those! Avoid that dish.
