The atmosphere and ambience are among the best of any American bar I have ever been to. Feels like walking into a bar at the turn of the 20th century with campy decor and photographs of notables who have visited. Awesome for a pizza, among the best served in NH, or for apres ski in the winter months. Irish fold musician Marty Quirk, a regular for 30 years on Friday and Saturdays in the winter months is a must see. Would be 5 stars but the the menu is like most bars, limited in scope, though the food is well above average.

Great atmosphere. Totally worth it. The food was simple yet delicious. There was a live band playing and everyone in the pub was happy. Our waitress was very nice. Could have been a little more attentive but it was very busy so we understood (there was a small wedding reception off the deck).
Prices are very reasonable and families are welcomed!
If you are in the area.. This is a must try!! Order the spaghetti and meatballs. Yum!

We have had evening meal here several times in the past few months. Very consistent food. Great service although on busy nights it is a hopping place. Wife says best vegie pizza she has had. Not fancy everything served on paper. Average price. Very irish decor. Live music on some nights. Watch the driveway if u have a low car. Very steep

So why would they name a Jackson pizza joint for a valley in western Virginia? Oh, sorry, that's just the way the locals pronounce the name. Reliable pizza, friendly service, great atmosphere. Always fun though it gets crowded during ski week--but so does everyplace in this great vacation region.

The best little home away from home. Once you step inside nothing else matters. Great for families or singles. Everyone is made to feel welcome. Great food and live music. The Shannon door is always doing charity events for locals. Do yourself a favor and visit the Shannon door. You won't regret it.
