“Excellent collection, presented in a historic building, by a wise curator.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

I hadn't been to the museum since they moved into the rehabilitated Old Jackson Town Hall. They have much more space to present their collections and the setting is more conducive to enjoying the art at your own pace. Everything I know about the White Mountain School of artists comes from Warren, your friendly, local docent. How much time do you need to spend in a small museum? 5 minutes, half an hour, more? This is a place where you can spend as much time as you wish, never rushed, and free to make it a short peak when that's what time permits. Do ask Warren about the history of the building. (Free trivia hint: this building was the final scene in one of Stephen King's thrillers.)
