My husband and I went to the Snowflake Inn for our honeymoon. We had a King suite and it was amazing... All the rooms have a 2 person jacuzzi, 2 person shower, very comfortable beds (and Im usually picky about that), and a fire place. The room was cleaned to perfection, we loved that they paid attention to every detail. Like after our first night we had left our phone chargers plugged into the wall and they had laid them up onto the bed after the bed was made so we wouldnt forget them. And there was also a single beautiful rose in our room each day.
The main commons area has a gorgeous fireplace and some very comfortable chairs and couch. Each night the inn keeper makes cookies that are avaliable. Every night we went down for the delicious cookies and had tea and coffee (tea, coffee, and hot chocolate are availiable 24/7) while sitting in front of the fire. The inn keeper and other employees gave us great advice on where to each night and we were very greatful for that. Every meal we had on vacation was great. Each morning breakfast is avalible until 10, it consists of yogurt with fresh granola, fruits and delicious scones and pastrys. There was a ton of different flavors of tea that I loved!! We were so impressed on how spotless clean this entire building was. I was comfortable enough to go down for breakfast in the morning with just my socks on and that is a big deal for me, I usually wear shoes the enitre time Im at hotels becasue Im always unsure of how clean they are. But there is no question this place was the cleanest I've seen.
On our last night we had the chance to move up to one of the 3 specialty suites we choose the Gazebo Suite.... It was a slice of heaven!!!!! This suite is a little different than the rest and had a glass fireplace that you can see from the bathroom into the bedroom area, and has an octogon room overlooking the view from the property. This suite still has the same features as the other rooms. This room is pricey but worth every penny. Before leaving we booked out trip for next year on our one year annivarsary and cant wait to go back!!!!

A lot of people come here in the winter to ski....We come to rest and relax. It is quiet, peaceful and no pressure from the Inn keepers. The Lobby with it's huge fireplace is a great place to sit and read a book, play a game or just sit and stay warm. The Relaxation Package comes with a message for you and your companion and is done in your own suite.....so Nice! Continental breakfast is always fresh and warm. The suites are big and comfy! If you must go out, the shopping and restaurants are plentiful.

Room Tip: Any of the rooms are great...the three large suites are fantastic.

I took my husband to this Inn after finding a Groupon that we could use on week nights. Since my husband's birthday was on December 4th, we decided to stay the 3rd and the 4th here. The rooms are amazing. We decided that when we win the lottery, we will design our rooms in just this way. Huge jacuzzi bathtub, room had an electric fireplace, nice bed with good bedding. The innkeepers were very friendly, and the breakfast selection was healthy and yummy. I especially enjoyed the home made granola and fruit. We had a bottle of champagne waiting for us when we arrived, along with some chocolates that my husband scarfed down. The huge pool they advertise, is really a pool, more than a spa/jacuzzi. Keep that in mind if you are thinking you will be sitting in a jacuzzi. But no problem, just go to your room and hop in your private jacuzzi.

We spent 2 nights at this beautifully appointed Inn. The staff was very pleasant upon our arrival. Our room was impeccably clean. The room had a jacuzzi tub and a nice shower containing 2 shower heads. The bed was extremely comfortable. There was in in-room gas fired fireplace. The Inn has a Tropical Spa that has a very large "hot tub" that is about 20' x 20'. You can choose from 3 controls which are Left Jets, Right Jets or Swim Spa. If you try the Swim Spa, be prepared to actually work very hard trying to swim to the wall. It is quite the workout. The spa has knotty pine walls and ceiling and a stamped concrete walkway which is not at all slippery. It was wonderful. Coffee is available nearly all day and you are treated each morning with freshly baked scones, bread, muffins, or other delicious pastry items. We would not hesitate to stay here again and again.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 102 which is located very close to the Foyer/Great Room. We could sit by the huge...

This place is great weekend getaway for new or seasoned couples. Romantic, quiet and clean!

Sue and Gary are the innkeepers and they, along with their staff, will make you feel right at home. I went with my partner (gay men) and we felt very comfortable - not always the case at romantic getaway places filled with mostly straight couples. They have some events in the Great Room like wine and cheese, sweets and coffee and the like. If you're interested in mingling then be sure to ask about them.

They're very accommodating and make sure you have all the special bells and whistles.

Plus, every room has a jacuzzi, two headed shower and a fireplace!

Room Tip: All the rooms are basically the same except for their 3 suites. You may wish to have a second floor...

We spent several days at the Snowflake Inn to celebrate an anniversary. It really is the best place that we have stayed in NH, and we have stayed at many places over he years! Our room (209) was absolutely spectacular, it felt like a suite with an in-room jacuzzi for two, large king size bed, gas fireplace, and a bath with large two person two head shower with two seats. Also a separate living room area off he bedroom so that you can read, etc., while your partner sleeps. The finishes are first rate, and the common areas are like out of a movie! Downstairs in the enormous common area is a HUGH fireplace that is constantly blazing, comfortable chairs and sofa facing the fire, and always hot coffee and home made cookies and pastry for snacks. A nice continental breakfast with granola, strawberrys, etc. was terrific. This is top notch for ROMANCE, and you will not believe that you have not heard of this before. We will be back many times in the future!

Room Tip: Rooms facing the road will sometimes hear noise from the tavern/inn across the street as they close...

We enjoyed a much needed couples getaway at the Snowflake before the Thanksgiving Holiday. We stayed in the Park Suite which was really spacious, had great views of the park/common, and had terrific light from sun up to sun down. The inn was nearly full but it was so quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the lobby fireplace along with snacks and a nice light breakfast. The innkeepers, Sue & Gary, were helpful and pleasant, but never underfoot. The staff was very efficient and friendly. This was our third trip to the Snowflake and it won't be out last.

We enjoyed one night of dining at the Thompson Eatery around the corner and it was nice. We also attended the Sunday Brunch at the White Mountain Hotel and for $17 it was a really good value.

Room Tip: The Park Suite allows you to enjoy sun rise and sun set from the room. Also you can enter into the...
