My mum and I booked to stay here in the Autumn of last year. We had booked this holiday as we are keen amateur photographers and wanted to see New England in the fall. Unfortunately for us it was a poor one, very wet and poor colours, but never mind, that's how it goes.
The b&b is in a lovely location and very quiet. We were very pleased with our room, very clean and comfortable. We'd expected to be shown our room, but when we arrived the owner disappeared for ten minutes leaving us standing there. This was how things were to be during our visit.
On the downside we personally didn't find it as friendly as the other b&b's we stayed in, and being constantly told to "read the rules" if we asked a question, a bit off putting. We did meet up with the other guests over breakfast and shared a giggle at "the rules" and the admonishments we'd had when breaking them.
Though not advertised, we found when we got there, we were able to connect wirelessly to the internet via my laptop and I could email home. A great plus for me.
I can thoroughly recommend the location, cleanliness, comfort and food of this b&b, but we would personally be put off returning by the fact we found it difficult to relax. We were pleased to move on. The atmosphere could well suit others, it just wasn't for us.
