Hi Ladies. Thanks for your kind feedback. We have a lot 'Girly Breaks' at the inn during the week and weekends - especially this time of the year. The tax-free discount shopping and our Aveda Concept Spa is a big draw. You stayed in on of our seven cottages that can sleep up to 6 with a sofa bed. The four Studio Apartments that we have in our barn is also very popular and can sleep between 6 - 8. Thanks for spending your time with us...and for being so much fun. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Gary, Sandra and the team

Great get away spot for a group of girlfriends. We stayed in the Livery Stable. The beds were awesome. Good breakfast and we were personally greeted by the inn keeper each day.

We stayed 2 nights at the Christmas Farm Inn and were delighted with our choice. I initially booked the North Star room in the Saltbox and it was very pleasant but when we found out there was a suite available in the Carriage House we upgraded. I am so glad we did as the suite was fantastic. Incredibly spacious with a separate sitting area with gas log fire, luxurious bathroom, fridge and the most comfortable king bed.
We ate both nights in the restaurant and the food was exceptionally good, a little unimaginative with the accompanying vegetables (potato and pumpkin don't make the best combination) but the steaks, scallops and prawns were superb.
The staff without exception were friendly and charming and made you feel very welcome. Jennifer in particular who was on reception was a star!
The Carriage House is a fairly steep walk from the main restaurant and reception but there is parking outside of the accommodation block.
Our only disappointment was that we didn't spot the family of bears that have been around recently but we did spot chipmunks in the woods.
If you are in the area, Christmas Farm Inn is thoroughly recommended, we were delighted with an absolutely excellent stay.

Room Tip: If one is available and you don't mind paying the extra, go for a suite in the Carriage House!

Weather not good for hiking. Took my body to the spa. After massage, facial and pedicure I was invigorated body and soul. Worth every penny and every minute.

Room Tip: Ask about a room where you can park near the room location not across the street.

We stayed for 2 nights in October 2011, as part of a 2 week tour. Our room was very pleasant, one big space with a jacuzzi in the bedroom. The location was nice - a bit isolated (we thought we'd missed the turn off at one point) but away from the commercial chaos of North Conway. The main plus was the helpful staff - the restaurant servoce at breakfast was really friendly and they were great at providing directions for a short late afternoon tour for the day we arrived.

We stayed here for 3 nights on the last part of our 2 week trip around New England and comparing it to the other 3 places we stayed at this was our least favourite. I was expecting it to be a more intimate B&B but it really has the feeling of a small hotel.

Firstly the good points. The outside of the Inn and the communal areas are quite pretty and quaint and I like the Christmas theme. Being in Jackson it's also away from the hustle and, I would expect noise, of North Conway etc which I think is a bonus. We never had any excessive traffic noise.

We ate breakfast in the Inn every morning and it was very good. I liked the choice of hot dishes and of fruit/cereal etc. We also ate dinner at the Inn on our last night and it was nice. All the staff we encountered on our stay were polite.

We stayed in The Salt Box and our room was adequate. Good points were the size which was big, as was the bed which was also quite comfortable.

The bad points, starting with the room: it was very dated and sparsely decorated, and not in a quaint, old fashioned way but more in an 80's motel kind of way. The colours were all quite dark. The room did come with a TV but it was tiny. The bathroom was fairly large but plasticky. We also had extensive noise from the room above us at some points, possibly when they used their shower or jacuzzi. Fortunately it never lasted long enough for me to complain about it. The heating in our room also didn't work. I asked to have it fixed at the front desk and the lady said it would be. I don't think it was as it still didn't appear to work but, again luckily the next few days we were there it was quite warm so we didn't need it.

If I was going back to the area i wouldn't stay here again.

We enjoyed our two night stay at the Inn. It is full of character. We stayed in a Carriage House suite which was very nicely decorated with sofa, comfortable bed, fireplace and a useful fridge and small sink in the living area. The view from the balcony was of the wooded grounds with the mountains in the distance. The only small criticism of the room was that the plumbing in the room above was a bit noisy. The common areas were welcoming with open fire in the sitting room and the dining room was beautifully decorated with little pumpkins and candles.Food at dinner and breakfast excellent. However what what really made the visit was the friendly staff, from the masseuse in the spa, the servers and staff at the front desk to the lady in charge at breakfast who had PG tips for English visitors !

We aim to please! ;-) Mary was on the hunt for PG tips for the longest time, knowing how much it pleases our British visitors and we faced empty supermarket shelves for the longest time... We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and this little attention to detail - nothing like a good cuppa in the morning!
