A very popular tavern with the locals which is always a good sign, great bat food, very large portions, friendly staff and good bears, a great night out.

The food is good. Prices not too bad. Atmosphere is nice. You can have a cocktail or two and not need to worry about driving. Overall its a nice place to eat and drink and catch a game.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry that your visit wasn't up to your expectations. Columbus weekend is notoriously the busiest day in the Mount Washington Valley, coupled with the Patriots game on the night you visited made our wait times a great deal longer than you, or we would like. Also the large size of your group limited where we could place you, your family and friends comfortably. Todd frequently updated your party, but larger groups lingered while couples and smaller families came and went. Again we can only apologize for the delay.

With all this in mind we feel you would have rated our atmosphere and quality much higher if we could have seated your group faster. Please try us again when the valley is less congested. I think you will agree and leave very satisfied.

We went for the Columbus Day weekend with family. Tried this restaurant last year...poor service and wait time... the guys liked the beer selection... decided to give it another try this year.... same poor service from the hosts with bad advice on wait time... waited over two hours for tables...watched people come and go...promised our table was ready several times wasn't... finally we were seated... the host promised we would not be disappointed and it would be worth our while... still waiting... not a family atmosphere at all..but I wouldn't waste my time even as a couple. Food was run of the mill...just not well done or run.

Easy access from the Glen Oaks Inn. Meals were affordable and service was very good. There were good choices of food and a vast range of different beers and other drinks

This is another one of those restaurants you wish was close to where you live because you know it would be a go to location. The restaurant was busy and as it is off the main highway it appears to be a place where locals. We just want to eat a decent meal to ease the hunger so we ordered simple. We got two tavern "specialties" the Pot Roast "Dipper" and the and the Prime Rib Telera. Both were simply delicious. The price was terrific especially for the quality. Great find.
