Bonnie & Bill have created a really cosy and welcoming B & B that feels like a retreat from the outside world. The rooms are all comfortable and are decorated in typical New England fashion. Towels were changed every day, which was a nice touch that you don't always get at 4* hotels these days. Bonnie is a wonderful cook and her breakfasts really set you up for the day especially when coupled with leisurely chats with Bonnie, Bill & other guests from around the world. We stayed for 7 nights and didn't have the same breakfast twice. There is no TV in the rooms but there is a TV lounge if you're really desperate -we preferred helping out with the communal jigsaw! The Inn on Golden Pond proved to be a real home from home for us and we miss being greeted by one of Bonnie's cups of tea when returning from a days sightseeing! Although there aren't many places to eat in Holderness, Bonnie & Bill have a folder containing recommended places to eat within easy driving distances and guests have added their comments to these. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone.
