“Cozy, Warm, and Friendly”
Reviewed February 20, 2013

My wife and I had a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend at the Inn on Golden Pond. It was cozy, warm, and friendly. Bill and Bonnie are great hosts and have a great B&B. We enjoyed most relaxing by the warm fire on Sat. night with our complimentary dessert. It was located in a great spot for us, easy to get to the Common Man restaurants and spa in nearby Ashland & Plymouth. We also enjoyed being able to wake up early and snowshoe around the Inn's 50 acres. We followed this up with a great homemade breakfast. Will def. think about going back again and enjoying the company of such great hosts.

My fiancé and I found this place on living social and decided it would be a perfect romantic getaway for Valentine's Day weekend. The inn is easy to find and very close to a highway. The rooms were quaint and I was able to view them all online before selecting which room I wanted for us. The room had some comfy chairs and a tv for us aside from the bed and full bath. Could not have asked for a better setting.

In the morning, homemade breakfast was served and was delicious, homemade bread, muffins and even French toast! So amazing.

We were the only ones there who did not have an itinerary for the weekend, but Bill and Bonnie were knowledgeable as to what was going on and even convinced us to try snow-shoeing at a nearby animal conservatory.

Overall the experience was amazing and romantic and most importantly relaxing. The only negative is how remote it is. There is some stuff nearby but if you are a person who needs a full day with tons to see and do, you should look elsewhere. But if you are looking for relaxation in nature, then I could not recommend this place enough.

We went up to NH to do some skiing at Loon and were really happy we came here! The Inn felt very homey and was a nice place to relax outside the city. Bonnie & Bill (the innkeepers) were extremely friendly, as was everyone else staying at the Inn. Breakfast was delicious and homemade. The living room was nice to sit in at night after skiing with a big fire. We brought a bottle of wine and they have wine glasses/bottle opener out at night for just that purpose (which was very convenient). Would definitely recommend it! (If you're looking to go skiing for the weekend, just note that when the roads are bad it could take you 45 minutes to get to Loon!)

Room Tip: We stayed in the Owl's Nest and loved its cozy feel!

Talk about an epic weekend of relaxing, and comfort. We decided to take a trip up to New Hampshire for a weekend get away, and found this jewel via living social. This should have been called living life. The Inn was so welcoming and warm, just as were the two Innkeepers (Bonnie & Bill). No sooner as we walked in, we were greeted and felt welcome. The room was extremely spacious, but had a cozy feel to it. The breakfast each morning was so fresh and exemplified a sense of pride as being homemade. Take advantage of this Inn and all it has to offer, especially an evening lounging by the fire. This is one place that we will re-visit in the very new future.

We went here intending to do some cross country skiing in the area but, the weather did not cooperate. It really did not matter as we had an excellent time anyways. I have been driving by this place for years and have always wanted to stay there. The owners are very attentive and the breakfasts they serve every day is excellent. If you get a chance go there!

A really great place. Quaint and friendly.
Only thing we really missed was having an adult beverage opportunity...sometimes it is nice to be waited on at the end of a vacation night.....however it is certainly ok to bring your own....

Spent a far-too-short weekend at this bed and breakfast recently. Bonnie and bill, the innkeepers, have created a cozy atmosphere in Holderness, NH. Our autumn stay included short trips around the area, with a boat ride on Golden Pond- where the movie was filmed.
If you go, plan to stay at least three days so you can casually tour about the area.
