In June we introuduced my brother and his wife to the Inn. This was their first experience so were leery especially regarding breakfast as my brother needs a glutan free diet...Bonnie was great and didn't seem to be bothered by the extra effort...We were there Fathers Day weekend...we were spreading Dad's ashes on top of Mt Washington..
Rick and Paula were so impressed dwith the Inn they wanted to celebrate their 40th anniversary there and invited us to join them and we had a blast ...Bonnie and Bill make you feel like you are family ... Definitely recommend it to many people...

My husband had a gig in the area. It was our anniversary, so I decided to tag along. There are so many B&B's in the area. This one was a slight distance from where he needed to be. But, I admit, I liked the reviews and the pictures of IOGP. The stay was as pleasant as I had hoped. The room was perfect. The bed was "quiet". The grounds were very relaxing. I was startled by a hummingbird. I thought it was a giant dragonfly!! City folk. The birds stopped by for breakfast outside the window as we started our day with a home cooked meal. Bonnie and Bill made us feel special. They are great hosts. Very relaxed people. I envy them. We don't get out that way much. But, if we do, we now know where we want to stay.

Just back from a wonderful 2 night stay @ the Inn on Golden Pond! What a treat! We took advantage of a special on their website to celebrate our anniversary. Bill and Bonnie are truly hosts who care about meeting the needs of every guest. The rooms are beautifully decorated with private baths with great towels, two chairs for reading and relaxing, and very comfortable bedswith great linens and quilts.

Coffee is brewing early so it was nice to bring a cup back to our room to wake up with or to sit on he enclosed front porch and watch the world go by. Breakfast begins with soft music playing, hummingbirds at the window, lost of great coffee and tea then cereal, juice, yogurt, a delicious hot entree, a freshly baked coffee cake, and homemade bread for toasting!

Common rooms to use include: the living room with puzzles and restaurant guides, etc, the TV room so we could catch the end of the Sox game, and a small room with free internet service on their computer and free phone for guest to use.

Do yourself a favor and stay with Bonnie and Bill next time you are in the Lakes Region. Take a boat ride on Squam Lake with the Science Center folks! Great informative ride, the sights and sounds are breath taking. ( we saw loons and bald eagles). And if you happen to leave your camera on the boat..no worries! Bill will call the Science Center and they will have it for you! THANKS!!

Room Tip: Bear's Den on the 3rd Floor is a retreat!!

We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay in New Hampshire. Our hosts, Bonnie and Bill, provided a very welcoming, home like, stay for the last 6 days of our American vacation. Given that Liz had unfortunately broken her foot whist we were on Cape Cod, the stairs to the top floor could have been a real problem. However, Bonnie was equal to the challenge and relocated us to a second floor room, which was much more accessible.

It is a beautiful place to stay and sitting eating the excellent breakfasts, whilst watchig the humming birds feed, was a real bonus.

We hope to return one day, to do all the walking we had originally planned to do.

Our thanks again to Bonnie and Bill; great Innkeepers.

Room Tip: Just choose from the excellent web site. All rooms are very well equipped and comfortable.

Lucky us, to find this great home not far from Meredith and the Interlakes region of New Hampshire. Bill and Bonnie were gracious hosts, the food was delicious and the beds super-comfortable. The view from the morning room was serene, watching wildlife cavorting in the spacious backyard as we ate and visited. We hope to return next year!

When we arrived we received a warm welcome and tour. The room "Bear's Den" was very spacious, very comfortable and clean. We were close by to boat cruise on Squam Lake and local restaurant. The hospitality and food was exceptional. We were also able to enjoy quiet time on the property. Highly recommended.

Best B&B experience we have ever had!
The acommodations were more than comfortable & just as described on web site. Impeccably clean, very well maintained, and the decor was excellent. The common space for all guests was spacious & with a great view of the expansive backyard & hills behind it. The front screened porch was inviting with the rockers & hammock swing.
We were in the area to experience the trails & mountain views, but were unexpectedly drawn to take some time for B&B experience - pleasant conversation with other guests at breakfast, time to sit & read [on the hammock, of course], etc.
.Bonnie & Bill shared time with guests, with a good sense of when to be present and when to leave guests to their own pursuits. They were professional while being warm & friendly. Their sense of humor was prevalent in their conversation as well as in little touches throught the Inn.
The breakfasts were superb: original, healthy & plentiful.

Room Tip: The pictures & descriptions on webb site were accurate. If additional info needed, just call the...
