I was a regular patron of the Canoe Club. I made a reservation on Tuesday for a Friday dinner for six. When I arrived the pompous owner informed me "we have double booked...actually triple booked...and have no table for you." No effort made to honor my patronage.
Never will go there again.

My wife and I went to the Canoe Club for dinner. We had an excellent time. The food was great, the service was great and the entertainment was fantastic. We really enjoyed ourselves. I highly recommend this to anyone if you enjoy excellent quality food and a warm and fun environment.

My husband and I love the Canoe Club. We always make sure we go there for dinner when in the area. The ambiance is great- very comfortable and fun. They have live music and a magician some nights! And, the food is excellent!

I had the best sandwich of my life at the Canoe Club yesterday (flank steak on foccacio, with carmelized onions, roma tomatoes and bliue cheese) so took my family for dinner tonight. No one was disappointed with steak, pork tenderloin and muscovy duck entrees. The salad was nothing special. Prickly pear sorbet was excellent - who'd a thunk that.......prickly pear! Extensive beer selection but the wine list was pretty sparce. Service was excellent despite the fact that the place was packed - apparently it is Homecoming Weekend for Dartmouth. Live music nightly that was generally good and added a lot of "atmosphere" to the place.
