My husband and I had just driven 3 hours from Connecticut and so were ready for a good meal. Arriving on the S Main Street main drag, we were EXTREMELY lucky to find a parking spot on the first pass at the end of the street. Parking in downtown Hanover on a Friday afternoon was difficult, with the street packed full of slow-moving cars. This is probably the only difficulty around Molly's.
Once parked, we were greeted pleasantly and seated in a big comfortable booth. The interior was nice with lots of wood, if not a bit cookie-cutter pub/roadhouse.
Our server was very professional, patient and helpful, and didn't hover too much or be too chatty, which we appreciated with being tired. He also provided us with some great recommendations for local craft beer, a Harpoon UFO White and Switchback Ale which we both enjoyed.
My husband and I shared a perfectly executed Calamari Fritti and then each had our own main. I had a House Salad with blue cheese and a generous serving of excellent Chicken Wings. My husband had a Caesar Salad, but had to wonder where the bacon bits had gone to as his serving had none. However, his pork tenderloin on a bed of fresh apple sauce was excellent.
We would eat here again.
