Breakfat on the weekends is slaming. You have to wate in line it is loud and tight. But fun and the food is good.

You can't miss with a breakfast at Lou's. All homemade, all yummy and reasonable. The crullers are outstanding, a huge hit with our young grandchildren. Pancakes , donuts, homemade granola, the list goes on. Can't beat it!

The food at Lou's is good and you get a lot of it. However, it's pretty pricey for what it is. There are other locations that offer similar fare for far less. You absolutely pay for the convenient location.

You can't beat the crullers!

so many choices, including gluten free--all fresh, nicely presented, big helpings, and totally delicious. There is often a line on weekends. It is worth the wait.

A trip to Dartmouth is not complete without the stop at Lou's Restaurant , where I happily do my time in the line! The oversized portions of comfort food never cease to wow us. It us fun to see the mix of students, profs and families in this small community enjoying time squeezed into the booths and tables with never enough room for all the condiments. No one seems to mind, it is one big happy family, including the amazing wait staff that negotiates the line the sometimes creeps around to block the kitchen! I have not ever had a morsel of their comfort food that was not worth the wait, but dessert is not an option because the meals are huge. Next time maybe i'll do JUST dessert! The cakes and pies look artistic and scrumptious. Enjoy it try it, a trip to Hanover isn't complete until you've been to Lou's. Its a tradition!
