Beautiful and clean. Plenty of restrooms, arcades, food and shopping. Weekly fireworks on Wednesdays and entertainment at the shell theater.

The State of NH and the Town of Hampton and the HB visitors committee's have their act together when it comes to this beach. The water may be cold, sometimes too cold but it was clean except for a few strands of seaweed here and there. Got some really cool seashells also. The beach was always clean, especially considering all the people that were on the beach from morning til early evening. They clean the beach with a machine every night as they do all trash bins, the bathhouse and restrooms are new & monitored closely for cleanliness. They have an information booth that has a lot of brochures and the staff is very helpful. The finding a parking place is crazy; however they have strategically located machines that you insert cash or credit card and you get a ticket that indicates how many hours you paid for. It's $2.00 per hour. You leave the ticket on your dashboard so the staff knows how long you've parked there for. Also along the sections of these spots they're little white stand up signs. Do not park there - those are leased spots for hotels.

Hampton Beach has a little bit of everything. I do have to say that this was the most crowded beach that I have ever been too, and I live in Florida.... it is a very wide beach so everyone has room to spread out. But, boy is it beautiful. The water is very clear, but also very very cold for August. But I am used to 90 degree water in August so this was a treat! There are boardwalk areas that have just about everything you would need. Parking can be expensive.... We got some fried clams and they were the best fried clams I have ever eatin!!! It is a nice beach to walk and the sand does get warm. It's a very clean beach and has nice clean bathrooms... Can't wait to visit again.

This is not a place for a relaxing getaway. Maybe on winter time, but definitely not on warm weather.

The beach is extensive with three big bathhouses and a stage for events. There are arcades, gift stores, food stands, restaurants, rentals, hotels and one casino alongside the main road.

It is a crowded place everyday, specially on weekends. So, if the weather is warm, go on weekdays or you'll end up in traffic. There are private parking lots that charges depending on how busy it is ($3-$35) or even more.

There are events going on all summer long, including fireworks and live music. Check the website. The beach is well maintained, but it's impossible to keep trash collection under control being so crowned. The water is freezing, even in July. Kids love it anyways.
