My family stayed at this motel numerous summers in the past. I liked the way Bill managed the place. For starter, he assigned parking spot for every unit. This weekend my husband and rented a room for 1 night. We checked in 6/5/21 (Saturday) and we checked out 6/6/21 (Sunday). I couldn't get over the difference between our stay in the past with previous owner with Bill as the manager to this particular stay.
1. No assigned parking space.
2. Our room has kitchenette which we were charged $159.00 because of it, but they didn't provide any pots, pans and utensils. We weren't able to utilize the kitchenette that we paid for.
3. A big stain on the carpet.
4. A big puddle of water near the stove possibly from the air conditioner.
5. No decorations.
6. When using the toilet, you have to twist yourself into a pretzel like position to reach the toilet paper.
7. The bed linen looked clean but smelled funny. The smell prevented me from falling asleep. I ended up laying the towel I brought from home over the fitted sheet and a Beach towel over me.
8. The curtain was falling down. I had to climb up to fix it. I am not sure if they are just being funny, or that the curtain presentation is now the new standard of the new ownership or they simply could careless! The curtain was simply an eye sore!
9. In conclusion, I felt being taken advantage of. I got charged a hefty sum for a substandard room and services.
10. I will never return nor do I recommend this place to anybody. I was deeply disappointed!
